Ok, so first impressions, nice old former warehouse converted tastefully into a hotel. We arrived early and were given an upgrade to a harbour view room. Room was pleasant if a little small and the bathroom was small too but wtih a good shower. Water pressure in the loo wasnt great though 8you dont want to know!)
The harbour view wasnt great as they are doing up the harbour so you look out on a building site, but this is hardly the hotel's fault. The salt bar was excellent and the service top notch. The wife and I had some snacks, she a hefty croque monsieur which she said was one of the best she had and i had a cheeseboard of local danish cheeses with preseved pear and fried rye bread. Delicious.
I found the beds super comfy but my wife didnt. Soft but not too soft with down fillings. So its a matter of taste. The hotel is just around the corner from Nyhavn and close to all the shops. Copenhagen isnt cheap and the price of the rooms reflect this. breakfast too was pricey but with a good choice. all in all a perfectly acceptable hotel. Neither fantastic, not awful.More
