The hotel is clean enough. rooms cleaned and linen changes every day. The shared toilets etc are clean as well. you get what you pay for and for the price this hotel is good value. It is the nearest hotel on Istedgade to the train station. There are a lot of budget hotels in the area Absalon, Anderson, Star, Saga, Omena, Centrum.

Other folk have commented on the area but it is fine...just ignore the one or two folk hanging about. Indeed going down Istedgade away from the hotel there is a great choice of café and fast food at decent prices.

The one thing I would say about this hotel (and all these old style hotels) is that if you are precious about your sleep take headphones or earplugs to block out the noises of creaking doors and other guests moving about the hotel, there's very little soundproofing.

The main advantage here is location. The main disadvantage is noise in the building

Room Tip: Take ear plugs

Hotel is just next to the central station and it was so easy for me to reach to/from the hotel :-)
I have only two recommendations: it would be great if hotel could send a little map/plan how to reach from central station to the foreigners, other recommendation is wi-fi should be free :-)

I had to have some work related staff sent to me from a colleague which was overseas. The hotel upon emailing them, responded super swiftly and told me that I was more than welcome to use them as an address box. The hotel was more than clean - everything I expected from the hotel and more! Upon arrival I felt warm and welcomed up until the moment we left. I most highly recommend this place. The hotel was located in a fantastic vicinity of the city close to some amazing bars and cafés! Most definitely will be returning. Thank you!

The room for single people are "micro" rooms - very narrow and not really rooms at all - more a corridor with a bed, cupboard and table in it! The rooms are cramped but clean. The shared shower and toilet facilities were really basic and I opted to check out and go to another hotel rather than use them!

Fine for a night but only if you have quiet neighbours as there is no soundproofing and everything and I mean everything can be heard in the rooms next to you as well as people walking around in the corridors.

Very good location, could use a little renovation but still a nice old hotel. Literally 20 steps from the main train station! So very close to everything. There is a nice pizza and salad place just around the corner, cheap and good.

Room Tip: It´s nice to have a room facing the courtyard and preferrably in the deep end of the hallway. That way you won´t notice the guests in neighbouring rooms too much.
