I stayed in Copenhagen for school and needed one night in a hotel.

This was the cheapest one that was close to the central station i could find. Like a 5 min walk.

I only slept there for literally 4 hours, but I could tell you that for the price, it's pretty decent especially for its convenient location.

Things to expect:
- Nice service
- Shared washrooms, which is built like a maze
- Narrow hallways that smelt like cigarettes
- Out dated bedrooms
- WHere my room was situated, I heard the garbage being picked up/dumped right outside our room. Really loud

I slept great, comfortable beds and the furniture was new, in good shape and stylish design. Only complete was the old (stained) carpet. Otherwise it was very clean, bathroom was clean and service was professional and efficient. It is located directly behind the main train station - super convenient to get to the airport and anywhere in the city. Plus they will hold luggage after you check out. Try the nice Thai restaurant just across the street.

We stayed in an economy room with shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. We stayed for three nights and I was happy when we left. The only good aspects of this hotel are the location (very central, the close by red-light district is no problem) and the friendly staff. Even though, we arrived early at 11am we already could check in (usually at 2pm), but the room that was given to us smelled like pee. It was really horrible. We complained and got another room on the fifth floor with view of the backyard. It seemed clean, but I did not dare to walk without shoes in our room. The room was small and after the first night my boyfriend´s bed broke in the evening. When he complained at the reception, they said that somebody would repair it the next day. One thing I did not like was that we had to leave the room keys at the reception every time we left and when we returned to the hotel we had to pick them up again. Basically, anybody could have walked in there and asked for the keys because they did not ask for our names or even ID's. Even though it was very cheap (150€ for 2 persons for three nights) I would not go back there.

We stayed at NEBO hotel 4 nights, the location is great , very close to the Tivoli Gardens , and Central Train Station , the staff is very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast is something not to be missed. We recommended this hotel for a great visit in Copenhagen.

Due to a very short notice trip, I booked the City Hotel Nebo in Copenhagen the day before my trip. As often, the best aspect of this hotel is location, location, and location. It's very close to the Central Station for trains, the hub for busses, and very close to many of the sights. Anyway, as already mentioned in the title this hotel seems more to be a hostel or even YMCA. The only thing irritating here is, even considering the premium you pay in the nordic countries, the ourtageous price. For 110 Euro plus I would have expected much more.

The building is a converted residencial building, which is reflected by fairly small guest rooms and thin walls. Many rooms utilise shared facilities and only a limited number of rooms have the bathroom integrated. Even if, it is more of a bath corner in which you can literally have a shower while doing your business. The door of the hotel is closed after 9p and before 7a, so that you need to use the ringer to go back in. In the early morning, when chack-out business is kicking in, you may have to wait a minute or two until someone is opening the door for you to come in.

My room had a flat panel LCD TV with a nice selection of stations but limited quality. It was very hard to locate a spare plug in the room, so I had to disconnect the reading lights close to the bed in order to charge my notebook and cell. The beds were terrible, I had a "double" bed that consists of two single. Unfortunately, in the middle of the night those two came apart and due to a broken restraint it was impossible to lock the beds in place. The sheets are quite thin and the pillows offer close to no support.

The breakfast is often not included in the price but well worth the 7 Euros. Jucies, eggs, cereals, rolls, and typical Danish breakfast platters are available and constantly refilled.

For it's location (5 mins walk to Copenhagen's Central Train/Metro sataion) & a short distance to Tivoli Gardens it's ideal for a short stay. The rooms are clean & the buffet breakfast is execellent & is well worth adding to your initial booking. Ideal hotel for a low-budget traveller who would rather spend their resources on sight-seeing & more travel than on unnecessary hotel luxuries....

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking front Street if avialable, rooms at rear are quiter if that's importa...

Tucked next to the Central Train Station in downtown Copenhagen, the Nebo Hotel is an excellent choice for budget minded travelers. We booked a room with a private bath. The room itself was decent sized and even had a small refrigerator. The bathroom was tiny but functional. The staff was very helpful. The closeness to the Central Station also brings a lot of foot traffic outside the hotel which could mean a problem for street noise especially during warm weather when windows are open. The red light district is nearby but is really not a problem.
