Degas exhibition was great, well worth a visit, really got into the detail of the artists methods. The building itself is stunning and worth the admission fee on its own.

We happily strolled around the museum for a couple of hours enjoying the various pieces from Egyptian, Greek and Roman empires as well as other eras but the stand out piece was a wonderful wooden sculpture of an old woman in the initial part of the display. worth visiting just for that piece alone.

Great collection of early Greek and Roman artifacts. Great restaurant with good prices for Copenhagen.

I found my trip to Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek very interesting. First of all, I liked the garden that welcomes you right after you buy the tickets. There are all sorts of sculptures of historical personalities, gods, writers, painters and so on, as well as famous paintings and mummies.
The collections are well structured so you can not get bored. Also, the services and the architecture of the building are great. The price is OK and there are several discounts for students and on special days. Anyway, I believe that this museum is a must see in Copenhagen.

This is the best kept secret of Europe, for me it is the best antiquities museum in the world, when it comes to Rome, Greece and even Egypt. Highly underestimated place, if it ever rains in Copenhagen, take it as an excuse and wonder through the best Museum you have ever dreamt of!
