Soon after entering the Ny Carlsberg Glyoptotek in Copenhagen, we realized we had stumbled onto one of the richest collections of amazing art assembled in one gallery. Being one of the first visitors after it opened that Saturday morning, we immediately headed for sculptures and impressionist paintings by the French Masters from the 19th and 20th Centuries. Three floors of amazing works by Gauguin, Monet, Manet, Degas, van Gogh and Pissaro, to name a few. And then a viewing of Edgar Degas' Little Fourteen-year-old Dancer, a mixed-media gem, and the finest collection of Auguste Rodin's work outside of his backyard museum in Paris, left us totally breathless in Copenhagen! Must see! Cheers and thanks to the founder of Carlsberg beer for founding and funding this beautiful museum.
