This hotel is very close to everything. Tivoli, Central Train Station (three stops from the airport), and the famous shopping street, Strøget. Don't expect anything fancy. It is reasonably priced considering it's location. No AC, small European styled rooms and when we were there they elevators were not working. There is a pizza joint next door that has an all you can eat salad bar and pizza special every night (they make their money when you buy the over priced beer).

The Zleep Astoria Hotel was as well located as we could have wanted, and we found the trains on the next block not too disturbing. Also, the 60 day advance prices made the stay quite a bargain for Copenhagen. The hotel itself, however, left much to be desired: it was beyond Spartan, had stains on much of the carpeting, scratches and dirt on the paint, and a tub area with a lot of missing caulk or grout.

The worst parts, however, included the tub whose floor mostly had a substantial tilt (it was meant for sitting, not showering). This made it was extremely difficult to stand in, except in a tiny area at the very end under the shower. The other main problem was the size of the room, which was small even by European standards. This meant the bed was against one wall, making it really tough for that person to get into and out of bed.

Room Tip: If possible, ask for a room in the back -- on the side away from the Central Station.

Wanted a hotel close to the railway station and went by rec. from travel agent - I wish we had looked into this a bit more - 50m from station - true, but the trains depart underground and they feel like they are rattling past you under the room. The room, prior to even opening the door we were concerned, as the carpeted hallway was smelly and old - the room was very small, the bed was more like a large single bed, and with one side of the bed against the wall, there was no room to open the suitcases on the other side. The bathroom was dirty and mouldy and my wife refused to shower in it. Buffet Breakfast meant to be in the restaurant(?) - more like a hall, they had cold meats and cheese and rolls plus breakfast cereals, no ho foods, no bread or even a toaster - all the plates were plastic and when finished leave on a tray and put on a shelf for the kitchen staff to deal with when ever they made an appearance!
Very expensive for what you got although I know Copenhagen is not cheap. Would not stay here again.

Booked this budget hotel on-line with Booking.com. Either due to a typo on my part or some bug in website was given a date I did not want. Hotel absolutely refused to allow me to modify or cancel date. This is a rip off. Much better hotels in Copenhagne within walking disance for a few dollars more.

Book at your own risk!

Chose to stay here because only needed a bed for 5 hours between late flight arrival and early morning train out of Kolding. Thought I'd save a few bucks (usually stay at Scandic) given short time I needed the room. Big mistake - 30% cheaper, 80% worse. Miserable check in (you even pay in advance), horrible dated and dirty rooms, very noisy (trains, cars, late night drinkers), uncomfortable beds (= zero sleep). Only positive is proximity to train station.

Price seemed reasonable, but for what you get, it is actually poor value. Don't do it!

Did no have a great experience in this hotel.
It is well located, just next to the train station, but the hotel is far from being great.
The facade of the hotel is all dirty... The room was also not clean, The carpet was also stained and also the wall were not clean. The toilet is small and antique. The bed is between two wall adn diffuclt to ge tinto it.

The breakfast is not included and is charged separately. The breakfast is also awful, very few variety. Only bread, butter and milk or juice is included. Nothing else...

Do not recommend this hotel to anyone...

Recently stayed 2 nights at this property & although place was clean was not overly impressed. It is located over the tracks at the Kobenhavn Central station which is a super location. Wasn't bothered at night by the noise. Room was very sparse for 2 people but adequate. There is no A/C so if you go in summer be warned. It was over $200 for the room here. Copenhagen is a very expensive city so I guess it is not too bad a price but still much higher than other cities around the world. Listed as a 3 star hotel but I rate not more than 1.5 star. Had a descent breakfast for the money
