This church is popularly known as the marble church and was supposed to be modeled after St. Peter's in Rome. But Frederik V ran out of money and when the project resumed, it was built of limestone. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful church with a dome that offers views of the harbor and the bridge to Sweden.
Across the street is the winter residence of the Royal Family. A changing of the guard takes place daily. There is also a museum and a statue of Frederik V on horseback.
