“if you're in the area...”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

I wouldn't make a special trip just to see this church but if you are in the area I(it is a p[leasant area to walk around) it is worth stopping in to see.

“Impressive from the outside”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

Unfortunately, the church was closed on the day we visited, but even from the outside, it's quite impressive. The dome is huge on this church and I can only imagine that the interior would be magnificent.

“overbearing but impressive”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

Built with obscenely expensive marble ( the politician who tried to cancel the build had his head cut off) its bloody origins show in its tomb like atmosphere and the marble being unpolished feels very dull ... pop into the wonderful Alexander Nevsky Russian church next door .. if you can ever find it open!
