Funky retailers, as well as traditional ones---neat place to walk and shop. Visit, but note the time---late hours crept up on us, and retailers we wanted to visit closed before we could stop in!

This is the longest pedestrain only shopping street in Europe (actually 5 streets linked together). There is so much to see as you walk along it that you go into sensory overload. There are shops, restaurants, street performers, music, etc. Makes for an enjoyable hour or so.

This street runs a long way. Its filled with many store selling clothes, accessories, soveniors. And of course, stores selling porcelain (which Copenhagen is famous for). You will definitely walk pass the street if you are taking the canal tour from Gammel Strand. A good way to spend a few hours of shopping. At the squares, there will be musicians performing and it livens up the mood!

Strøget is a pedestrian street that runs from Rådhuspladsen (Town Hall Square) in the West to Kongens Nytorv (King's New Square) in the East. It is filled with cloths, shopping and luxury stores.
It's a nice place to stroll if you have nothing better to do to pass the time as it pass several historical land marks, as other have said, the good thing about Stroget is that it eventually leads to Nyhavn where dozen of restaurant and bars await you to relax in this idyllic canal.
