“Beautiful and christmassy!”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

we visited in December where Tivoli is transformed into a winter wonderland. You need to pay to get in but it's well worth it. illuminations on the lake every hour and lots of lovely little stands - lovely Christmassy feel

“Underwhelmed ”
Reviewed December 28, 2013 via mobile

Visited between Christmas and new year, was takes about in all the guide books as a must see however felt underwhelmed on our visit. There is little in the way of original gardens and the experience is more aimed towards families and is children focused with entertainment and rides. Unless you are planning on using the rides the attraction can be covered in a few hours with a drinks stop. Other attractions in the city are far more value for money.
Friendly and welcoming staff, in a clean and tidy environment. If you have a family you would be well catered for with plenty of drinks stops and restaurants to choose from.

“Nordic Christmas spirit”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

Visiting Tivoli during Christmas time is always an amazing experience; entering a magic world full of wonders that make you feel like a child again. All the elements of the Nordic Christmas are there to enjoy... and some to take home too!

“Magical at Christmas time!”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

We visited just after the Christmas decorations had been put up and it was magical: lights, Christmas trees, nutcracker soldiers and so much more. Tivoli Gardens, one of the oldest amusement parks in the world, is a must see anytime but especially so during the holidays even if you don't like rides and only want to soak in the ambiance.

“The Magic of Willy Wonka”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

When you are walking around the outside of Tivoli the feeling can be likened to the thoughts of the secret wonderland of Willy Wonka or a Secret Garden. You know there is a magic wonderland inside, but unless you pay you cannot enter. Once inside, it also feels like Willy Wonka! Treasures and magic around every corner. With my one year old, the Rasmus Klump area is perfect. It is a beautiful place to explore.
