It's quite an expensive activity as you not only pay to get in as you pay for most of the attractions. Located right downtown, is one of the city's landmarks but maybe not so worth the money.

Not a god excursion. Quick bus ride through the city with a disinterested guide. Took us to Tivoli Gardens for a 2 hour visit. Pretty gardens but without kids riding the rides, we were done in 40 minutes. We left the tour and walked the city taking a cab home. Had we not, we would have seen nothing of the lovely city. Take another excursion.

We had so much fun in Tivoli Gardens! There are many restaurants and some additional attractions like illuminations, fireworks and concerts in the summer. We bought entrance tickets (95 DKK) and multi-ride tickets (199 DKK) and spent about 8h in the gardens. I only wish there were more big rollercoasters. You certainly need to try star flyer (80 m) with amazing view of the city, the demon, monsoon and the spinning top. We were only very disappointed with the dragon which caused us a few bruises and actual pain. I would definately recommend visiting Tivoli to everyone!

The gardens are worth seeing in themselves! Food very expensive, but expected for such a site.
Do not try to ride any rides without buying the band: one ride for 2 almost pays for the band.
We tried to go just for one ride one day before returning the next day for the "main visit", but the ride took 3 tickets per person.
Some great entertainment can be seen as well: check the schedule!

Fabulous, frolicking good time. Beautiful gardens, lots of shops and a multitude of fun things to do or just sit and soak up the ambiance + the smells from all the restaurants is delightful...rarely do we write a review of a destination that we would describe as smelling yummy. We had a grand time, this day we had a family with us, the children really enjoyed as well so wonderful for the whole family, young and old alike.
