I am reviewing the gardens from someone visiting on a sunny evening
in June. This is a pleasure garden as our grandparents parents used to enjoy. Everyone was smiling and happy in these beautiful gardens where there is good food and some exciting rides. We also listened to a great band . What more could you ask for?

“Enjoyable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

We went in the evening after dinner. It was nice to stroll through the gardens. The light show at the lake was very enjoyable as well. We used the Copenhagen card for entry and didn't get on any of the rides. The gardens were beautiful and there was a "Big Band" concert on the main stage after it got dark. A very nice experience on a beautiful spring evening.

“Interesting”

Tivoli is interesting to see but overall we felt it was very expensive for what you get. If you are not interested in rides there's basically very little to do. The flowers are lovely. The restaurants are many and good but of course you spend more here. We saw a couple of very amateur concerts- folk dancing and a singer, who was basically singing karaoke. It is pretty at night so if you go be sure to do so in the evening.

“So this is where Walt D. got his idea...”

My husband and I had a lovely stroll through the park. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to stop and look in the little shops and enjoy the sounds of happy children. School is still in session so the park was comfortable to move through. Several "seniors" were enjoying their day here also. I can imagine that once school is out, it will be very crowded. Lots of restaurants, ice cream shops and rides for the kids. Lots of flowers decorate and make this a lovely place to visit. We even had the opportunity to sit at listen to a band perform wonderful music. Easy to reach as several bus routes end across from the entrance of the park.
