Went for lunch on our last day in Copenhagen. Food was delicious but servings were quite small. Really nice setting and imagine int would be a fun place in the evenings. Definitely worth going for a nice meal.

i was there on a thursday night around 9.30pm.
Atmosphere was great, its in the Meat Pack District just at the entrance.
Service was ok, i wanted a negroni to start, but they only serve Wine and pur Drinks.
Food was ok, they have a sharing system where you can order several plates, it was a pitty they didnet serve it all together.
Good experience

While the atmosphere was absolutely great and I love the rehabbed old factory-esque building, I was a little disappointed by the food. Keep reading, though.

We went for dinner. The menu is unique, with several smaller dishes that you mix or larger ones. We decided to spilt dishes and ordered a couple of the smaller ones and one larger one. From the seafood selection we had a smoked salmon salad with chili fermented radish and oranges. This salad was a disappointment and really wasn't anything special. This was followed by a SENSATIONAL duck breast with beets, parsley and hazelnut salsa and a honey vinaigrette. This was absolutely delicious. Mouthwateringly so. And such a lovely presentation, too that our eyes could eat, too.

For the larger portion we split the grilled rib-eye with smoked bone marrow, mushrooms, shallots and bread crumbs. While the grilled rib-eye was good, although though not on par with duck, the presentation was so unappetizing. The mushrooms looked a lot like worms.

For dessert we had an amazing cheesecake and warm chocolate soufflé (I think it was a soufflé) with a delicious. While the chocolate was warm and delicious, the cheesecake was out of this world, light and creamy. Stunningly delicious.

Our verdict: for a meal, we'd go some where else. However, if you want to have a lighter meal with the duck, for example, and an amazing dessert accompanied by great wine then Pate Pate is the right decision. Be prepared to pay a pretty hefty price, though.

The food is really good. They recommend you get 3 dishes!!! And there seems to be some unknown formula as to how they arrive. Some deemed as starters and some as mains! Food was super. All very tasty. Be careful as they charge for water. We ran up a nice water bill, as we assumed it was just tap water and we had Danes dining with us. It was quite hard to have a conversation among a group of 6 due to the music and background noise. But atmosphere was good.

Visited Pate Pate with a group of colleagues, and felt welcome right away. The restaurant seems like a neighborhood favorite coupled by hipster hang-out. It could have been a "mess", but worked surprisingly well. The waiters were friendly, very English proficient (actual more so than Danish) and gave good advise, never trying to up sell.

We had three courses each and everything was delicious - highlights for me were the lumpfish roe and the veal tartare. The butter squash risotto was a little too parmesan'y for my taste, but others loved it.

The extensive wine list was very reasonably priced and had some real finds.

All in all a great experience and certainly not my last visit.
