“Worth looking for”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

We came across this café by accident, but were very glad we did. We had afternoon tea, which was sandwiches/bruschetta, and cakes. It was good value and very tasty. The cakes were all very fresh and tasty.

I would definitely recommend finding this café just off the main shopping street. The waitress was very friendly.

“Tricky to find but worth the search”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

Lovely waitress, good food (very interesting, we lived in southern Jutland for 3 years due to work and missed out on lots of the brunch goodies), nice decor. Great hot chocolate.

As with every thing in Copenhagen (and to some extent Denmark in general), this was very expensive food. Great for a coffee stop but probably not for a full lunch.

Although there are English menus, the delights of the sweet counter with the variety of cakes etc are all labelled in Danish. Of course they should be, but it might be helpful for some of the more popular treats to also have English translations (or whoever mostly frequents the shop). It took us months to figure out what to ask for at a bakers when we lived here!

“Small and sweet”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

This bakery has such a great and quite hidden location. We visited there in the afternoon around 14 o'clock and we were lucky that we even got a table! Service in this location is average. I ate Wienerbröd and actually it did not taste so fresh any more. And friend of mine needed to order something else as they didn't have second piece left! Afterwards we were thinking that maybe the cakes would have been worth of trying -at least they looked delicious!
When we ordered the bill it took several minutes before nothing happened, even though they didn't seem to be so in a hurry.

“No cupcakes at all”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

If you are looking for cupcakes, KEEP LOOKING, you are in the wrong place. There is not a sight of cupcake any day of the week. So enjoy your simple coffee, if it´s any good.

Patisserie Antoinette is a patisserie (konditori) not a cupcake shop. We are not that boring. The patisserie has a selection of a different varieties of cakes, sometimes we also has cup cakes. If our guests has special requirements they are welcome to order what they require in advance, and we will make the orders.
To give one star for not having a special cake in range, is not serious. If one want only cup cakes we do have more than one cupcake shop in our naighborhood. I am looking forward in exitement for your rewiew in one of their shops, arsking for Othello layer cake!

“Excellent hidden cafe”

My first hot cappuccino in town. The cake is a must have. We did not try the tea, but apparently is famous with the locals. Great atmosphere.
