“Good Hotel”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. Overall the hotel is good - very clean, nice rooms, central location.

The hotel is about a five minute walk from Central Station and also from a large shopping centre.

The rooms are reasonably sized, well maintained and clean. There hotel is circus themed so the decor is quite colourful and unique. There is free Wifi and a nice working area in each room.

There are two restaurants in the hotel - a sushi bar and the main restaurant. Both are quite expensive. The food is good but overpriced. Breakfast was very good - nice selection of food but a very busy service.

A decent choice if you want to explore Copenhagen

Nice basic hotels with good size rooms of Copenhagen, clean and have an ok breakfast. The train station behind the hotel is noisy at night, if you need full quietness to sleep.
Walking distance to Tivoli garden, a mall with movie theater and to downtown in general.

Room Tip: Make sure that your room is not on the railway side

If visiting for business, think twice, which is a shame as it is a nice hotel. Good rooms, size and cleaniliness very good and I had a view overlooking the water. However, hotel seems to be very popular with families; screaming kids running down hallways, and the pool takes on atmosphere of a holiday camp (a real shame as the pool looked excellent - for relaxation).

This is a nice Hotel, but it is also a bit expensive – breakfast is 170 kr. each, and nothing special.
The location is good, only a 10 minutes’ walk from Tivoli and “Hovedbanegården”
The service is good, we had problems with the TV remote and the reception came up with a new one.
The Hotel seems new, but there are some small issues:
- The water in the shower goes from very cold to very hot, at random
- The tap in the sink, was very hard to use, it required massive strength.
There is parking in the basement – it is Copenhagen so this is also expensive, 20 kr. an hour and 140 for 24 hours.

I stay in hotels in Copenhagen very regularly and have tried a whole range of the Arp-Hansen hotels over the years (imperial, phoenix, gentofte). The rooms are always clean and functional etc. I had hoped that in selecting a newly built hotel, we might find the rooms larger than the Arp-Hansen norm, but that wasn't the case unfortunately. Having said that, it was a comfortable and fun hotel, with its theme drawn from the tivoli park nearby (hence the colourful decor, lighting etc) and friendly staff. Children are made to feel welcome - my son's cot had a lovely pillow and duvet (in the many other hotels we've stayed in with him, we've been lucky to get a sheet) and was given a colouring book and baloon on arrival. The location is slightly further out than expected & they ought to rethink the breakfast arrangements which are quite hectic.

Room Tip: Road noise is mentioned by some travellers as a problem. I have to say this was minimal even in a ro...

We stayed for two nights with breakfast, staff were helpful and the room was clean and quiet. The pool was awesome, along with sauna and buffet breakfast was good standard. Location was great for getting into Copenhagen, main train station was an easy walk, as was Dybbolsbro station. Or you can take the little 11A bus to pretty much all the main sights in Copenhagen. It wasn't glamorous but it's all you'll need.
Rooms weren't the biggest I've ever seen, but we were at the end of a corridor so it may have just been ours.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floors had good views of the surrounding area.

We stayed in Copenhagen three nights and were so happy with this hotel selection. The pool was fun for the entire family, the breakfast buffet was a traditional Danish smorgasbord with everything to keep you full while you sight see and the concierge service was so much help. I liked that it was a green hotel that conserved energy when we were not in our too. Have the Segway available for a small fee was a nice surprise for our children (ages 9 & 10).
Would would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Hotel rooms in the area and very small, but the family room worked out well for the four of us and...
