This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag, some good & some bad. First the good, its location (a 10 min walk to Dybbølsbro Station, Central Station, & the Tivoli Gardens). Also, its on the 11A bus route which loops around the city centre, which is very useful for getting to & going from the hotel. The rooms were quiet & clean & of a good size for a city centre hotel. The staff were all friendly, with excellent english. Also the standard of the food & drinks available at the breakfast buffet was very good.
Now the bad, we had 2 rooms during our visit (problem with our door keycard reader) the showers in both rooms (on the 4th & 9th floors) had rubbish temperature mixing ( you would set the shower temp you wanted - then it went hotter - then colder - then OK & so on). So watch out for this. Also, the breakfast is served in a vast, gloomy congress room with no natural light & piped muzak. There are also lots of crying babies & screaming toddlers running around at the weekend breakfasts. So, all in all not a great start to the day.

Dear Traveller,

Thank you for writing a review about your stay at Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center.
I am happy to read that you liked the location of the hotel, the staff and the food and had an overall nice stay here. I am of course not very happy to read that you had troubles with the water temperature in the room. I will make sure that action will be taken immediately to prevent it to happen again.
Regarding the breakfast I can inform you that we serve breakfast in the great Tivoli Congress Hall during July. The rest of the year the breakfast is served in the Tivoli Brasserie on the 2nd floor. I am sorry if you did not find it pleasant.
I do hope that we will have the possibility to welcome you again in the future.

Kind regards
Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center

Really great fun venue with great facilities. Was there for a conference but also explored Copenhagen too. Easy walk into town. Did a live tv broadcast via Skype from my laptop in the bedroom - super fast Nordic broadband wifi link

Very nice hotel conveniently located at a 10-15 minute walk from the Central Station.
Like other hotels in town it is a design hotel with a nice look for the outside when it's dark.
It has a spacious congress hall, efficient and polite personnel (the guy at the concierge in particular), with a very nice inside swimming pool that also the young kids will enjoy.
It feautures a small fitness gym with equipment that does work and a very nice playing room for younger kids.

The rooms are pretty small; I stayed at room 361 which comes with a small but very nice balcony, two single beds, kind of small in width and a new and fully working bathroom with bathtub and shower.
Unfortunately if you take a shower consider that water will end all over the floor; I would have preferred a shower by far.
No shaving kits available ("we ran out of shaving kits, I am sorry").

The daily cleaning was good but one day when the guy (I believe eh was talking care of the room that day) didn't clean well, the sheets in particular but also the bathtub; probably because I was staying there the next night as well, still not a good service.
The mini bar is too expensive to be considered; as usual eating in the hotel is expensive, even in the Brassiere or, even worse, in the renowned sushi bar at the top of the building which is still worth a visit in a sunny day.
Breakfast is important when I am in vacation and this hotel offers a good service, not so many cold cuts but you will enjoy the different kind of breads, the yogurt and juices but do not look for pastry, it's missing, the choice of fruit is very limited.
The american coffee is good (don't look for espresso or cappuccino, they must be requested to the waiters and are provided at extra cost...); white sugar is not provided and when I asked to the waiters, a few of them told me that the kitchen does not carry it just ask someone else and you will get it.
Test the wake up service; it works fine but don't expect a phone call to wake you up.
Wifi is free in all rooms; I could use skype over wifi extensively with no problem at all.

Overall the hotel is nice but definately very pricey in particular if compared to other 4-star hotels in Europe; the euro to krown forex definately does not help but considering that Copenhagen is a very expensive city for foreigners carrying euros Tivoli Hotel is worth a short stay. Not to be forgotten, free day-long entry tickets to Tivoli Park are included with the room

I stayed at the Tivoli for 8 days in late May...decent hotel...A bit out of the way from the old city but very close to the Tivoli gardens....Very clean...Tiny rooms.....Nice bathroom. ...Good breakfast...Expensive....Unusual decor...but fits with the Tivoli theme...Good overall experience....

Room Tip: Take an upgrade if not too pricey..the standard rooms are fairly microscopic...

We stayed two nights in July 2012 and could not have been happier for choosing Tivoli hotel.
The hotel is new, clean with great facilities and a very friendly staff.
We were travelling with a 4 year old boy who was also very happy to stay at the hotel. The pool and the basement playroom kept him busy.
A huge breakfast buffet was offered in the mornings with fresh, healthy choices.

We will definately stay at the same place if ever returning to Copenhagen.

I stayed at the Tivoli when attending a conference in Copenhagen. The rooms are clean (although really weird dress pillows, but I don't like clowns much), great bathroom, free wifi and good facilities in the business centre. Breakfast is a buffet affair, but they have a large spread so there is something for everyone. The reception staff were (with one exception) extremely helpful, courteous and polite. Its not right in the middle of Copenhagen, so you'll have to get a bus/bike/walking shoes if you want to see anything, but it is a small (fabulous) city and won't take much time to get to the major attractions. Plus they give you a free ticket to Tivoli gardens!
