A really fun and catching way of seeing more of your own city. The first half hour is a little scary but after you get the hang of it, it is so much fun and a very informal way to be together with your co-workers. So much to talk about afterwards and the adrenalin kick is awesome.

This review is a little outdated because we went to Copenhagen and did the Segway Tour in July 2010, not 2011. But if we were going back to Copenhagen again (which we will hopefully be doing next summer) the very 1st thing we would book is the Segway Tour. To say it was a little fun would be like saying the Pope was a little Catholic!

We made our reservations after reading some reviews on Trip Advisor. My wife had always wanted to try and "drive" a Segway. We looked forward to the tour, but were a little apprehensive about being klutzes and fall a lot while trying to take the tour. Our friends told us piloting a Segway was easy, but we still had the major fear of causing an international incident by either falling or running over pedestrians throughout Copenhagen. When we got to the Segway Tour home, we were given detailed instructions and then taken to a road right behind the office. Getting on the thing was terrifying! I just KNEW we were either going to kill ourselves or many other people as we lost control or plowed into a crowd. It was comical watch all of the tour participants gingerly going around the oval, almost just inching forward. And be advised, "Inching Forward" IS dangerous! The slower you go, the less control you have. Within a few minutes, we were all starting to feel "a little" more comfortable. So off we went. As your piloting the Segway increases in time, so does your confidence, and then so does your speed! To say we were "proficient" after 10 minutes would be an understatement! By the time we were almost through the entire tour, we were going through crowds of people, like Indy car drivers! Complete control! And what a fantastic time! If you go to Copenhagen and DON'T do the Segway Tour, you just might as well NOT go to Copenhagen! OK, maybe a little overboard, BUT NOT MUCH! :-)

A little pricy but worth it. The staff taught patiently how to drive the Segway and made sure that no one got left behind. The tour was informative as we could hear the tour guide from the helmet headphones (other company had only basic bike helmets). Segways allowed us to go to places that buses can't go. Breaks in nice spots like one in a park cafe kept everyone in a good mood and it was nice to socialize with other tourists as I was traveling solo.

We had a fantastic Segway tour round Copenhagen. Katrine was our friendly and helpful guide and she was really excellent at explaining how to use the Segway and showing us all the interesting places in the city during our 2 hour tour. The tour starts from Nyhavn, which is really convienient as we were staying in the nearby Scandic Front hotel. We were both a bit nervous at first, but you soon get used to controlling the Segway, and it's such a fun way to explore the city. Thoroughly recommended - many thanks guys.

My boyfriend and I had great fun on the 45min - 1hour segway tour which was part of the Sail'n'Segway tour. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to operate the segway easily, but it was actually very intuitive and you get to practice in a quiet courtyard before hitting the streets (mainly pedestrianised areas so no traffic). Lars was an excellent guide (and segway instructor) and as there were only 4 persons in the group (the max is 5), there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions about the city and about the segway technology! Afterwards we wished we had been able to go on a longer segway tour because it was so much fun, but due to time constraints (our ship was departing Copenhagen) we could only fit in this tour. However we highly recommend this tour - it is perfect for those spending a day or two in Copenhagen.
