I guess the title of my review covers it best.

The hotel is clean, rooms are clean, functional, and just the right size for one to two people. Front desk service was great. Very friendly and helpful reception.

The location is only a few metro stops from central Copenhagen and much closer to Kastrup. If you have to catch an early flight and want to stay in a quiet hotel, away from the city, Cabinn Metro is a good value.

This branch of a hotel chain is close to the airport. As you exit the airport, take the metro two stops and you can walk to the hotel, just around the corner from the large shopping center to your left. The rooms are small, simple, and very clean. The shower is sort of a joke, but all the necessities are there. I liked staying here and given all the hassle to get into town via a cab and pay a lot, a single costs only about 70 dollars. Granted, that is no bargain in the states, but in Copenhagen, it is.

Yes, the reviewers were right on the small room and even smaller toilet. But i personally found this hotel cute despite the minor setbacks. Clean and stylish lobby, friendly and helpful receptionists and strong wifi signal are some of the pros you will get in Cabinn metro.
You do not expect to spend lot of time in the hotel while touring Copenhagen do you? This hotel provides all the necessary amenities for a decent roof on top of your head. Besides, where could one find a budget and decent hotel for less than 70EUR in the most expensive city in the whole EU?

Orestad is actually a very pretty township. I love exploring this area by foot. Lovely greens, lakes, farms and bicycle paths leading to Island Brygge. Nice architecture and the biggest mall(Fields) in whole Scandinavia. So much to see and buy and eat at Fields. Why go to the city centre(although it's near by metro) to eat when there are so much options at Fields. I actually returned and stayed another night after staying 3 nights a week before i left for Germany. Most importantly, the hotel is clean and it's extremely near to Kastrup airport. Just 2 stops by Oresundtag train(not Metro) will whisk you to airport in less than 10 minute. The ticket cost you DKK24.00 one way
Other than a little stuffy in the small room which i have to open the window a bit to let the fresh air in and lack of varieties in the breakfast menu, i will definitely make a return to Cabinn Metro again if i were to visit Copenhagen in the near future.

Room Tip: Try avoiding rooms facing the streets, can be noisy at night and early morning. To get strong wifi s...

If you booked into this hotel, you are probably just like us; a budget traveller but not to the extent a backpacker.

Do not expect too much from this hotel, hotel staffs are straightforward and not as helpful as normal 4 star hotel staffs. They checked you in and give you the basic direction to the hotel room.

Yes, bathroom is small and when you shower, water goes everywhere. Make sure you co-ordinate with your partner before you take a shower.

A lot of reviews did not really provide tips about staying in this hotel. Therefore i am giving you some insight tips before you travel to Copenhagen.

Tip 1: there is a big shopping mall call Fields shopping centre just right beside the hotel. When you arrive at Orestad train station, head towards the entrance of the shopping mall and find the supermarket- Bilke (blue logo). This supermarket has an exit door on the right, take that exit and turn left and you will see Cabinn Metro

Tip 2: Since there is a shopping mall nearby, there is no need to spend your money in the hotel which cost about €7 per person for breakfast. The shopping mall has a local bakery at the entrance near the metro station. They sell wonderful cinnamon rolls (famous danish bread). It ony cost about DKK 15 each (£1.50, $3). Trust me, the rolls are fantastic and it will certainly be your best breakfast in Denmark.

If you are not a bread person, the Bilke supermarket also sells hot food like meatball, crumb fish, roast pork etc including desserts! You could even get some breadrolls and make some dinner in your hotel room.

Tip 3: the 4 zones bus/train ticket is about 90dkk and it last for 24 hours when you validate your ticket at the time of travel. You probably should buy the ticket at the airport before you hop on the train. Its much worth it than buying a single ticket.

Tip 4: cabinn metro has a baggage drop service and surprisingly they don't charge any money with it but it's all self-service. You will have to go to the baggage room yourself and drop your bag.

Tip 5: yes, there are free wi-fi in the hotel. Although the signal is not very good but its better than nothing. The bunk beds are very tiny, not reccommended for heavy person.

Tip 6:if you want to head to Malmo for the day, its about 270 Dkk for a family of 2 and i think children travel for free. You can get the tickets at the metro station.

Tip 7: last but not the least, everything is expensive in copenhagen especially food therefore plan your meals ahead. Settle your three meals at the mall before you get to the city. The shopping mall shuts early during weekend. Bring a thick jumper as the weather does get very chilly at night

It was clean and easy to get to via Metro from airport for one night before a cruise. It was about the size of a dormitory room and furnished the same way. Sparse and utilitarian comes to mind. And it cost $150+.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on a business trip. Convenient location, between Kastrup airport and downtown Copenhagen. Very small rooms (a given from the name and the communication when I booked), but clean and quite comfortable. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Best of all: Very inexpensive on Copenhagen standard. Good value - probably closer to three and a half star than four (quite a gap between average and very good...).

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing away from the street in front of the hotel. The sound of the early morning...
