This place was recommended by our hotel staff and we were not disappointed.
Tasting and a la carte menus available. We were not particularly hungry so opted for two small plates each which was enough. The food was tasty and not over complicated with a few interesting options on the menu.
I would eat here again.

Thank Drewhd

We stopped into Scarpetta for a quick dinner before heading to the airport, as it was just around the corner from our hotel (Avenue). They offer Italian small plates with a bit of Danish influence - Jerusalem artichokes with mascarpone. The gnocchi and mini pizzas were also delicious. Definitely a nice spot with good variety and reasonable prices if you are in the area.

We went here to celebrate a special occasion and wanted to eat out nicely. At first we were quite surprised by the fixed times of our reservation, let's say we needed to be 'done' within 2 hours but we soon found out it was enough to enjoy.
From the menu you are supposed to choice 3,4 or 5 dishes, having in mind all of them are rather starter-sized. You may also go for a fixed menu but only if everyone from the party orders it. My partner is vegetarian so when the waitress suggested us to go for the fixed menu, she pointed that most of the dishes are with meat or fish. Our waitress offered her some replacements of the meat-dishes but we had our eyes on the other mouth-watering positions from the menu (like cauliflower and truffle pizza). She had a nice mushrooms and nuts soup as a starter which was an extraordinary composition of flavors. We really liked our "mains", too - on some of which we decided to swap plates after having a half of the dish. I really liked the choice of wines, fast service (but not too fast, food was served with a normal pace after we requested it) and very friendly staff. Overall it was an excellent experience, according to the occasion. Maybe it is not the cheapest place to dine out but the evening and the meal were definitely a value for money.

Dishes are small - stater size - so they recommend between 4-5 dishes. For me 4 was plenty as the food is really tasty. Especially the truffle risotto which might just be the best I ever had.
Pre set 5 course menu is good value at only 250kr but must be ordered by the entire table.

The table is only yours for 2 hours which means there's no room for larger breaks between dishes. On weekdays this is normally not an issue, but during weekends you will experience that they enforce this rule.
