Our stay at CPH living is great, given the excellent view in every room. Despite it was one of the coldest months in Denmark and it could be cold to stay near water, the heater facilities in the room can always keep you warm. Breakfast which offered without additioal charge was great too. The staff/ hosts were extremely friendly as well. The only drawback is the location of the hotel which could be a hassle to walk from the metro (around 15mins) on foot and especially if the weather is snowy and slippery. It is safer to take a cab despite it may cost as much as 20 euros sth.

Fantastic location to stay, on the river in the centre of the city, could it get better? The hotel is privately owned and run day to day by the owners, so the customer is very important. The rooms are great with floor to ceiling windows looking over the city, fantastic at night. The room has a large LCD TV and the wifi works well, so you can keep in touch with the world if you wish. Good bathroom with a wet-room style shower, all you need.
The only warning, if you are not good on your feet I would not recommend this hotel, with a spiral staircase at on end and open steel stairs at the other it is not the easiest getting up and down stairs.

We stayed in Copenhagen for four nights and enjoyed the quiet and simple comfort of CPH. The rooms are compact and well designed with extra storage under the bed and a spacious shower. One wall of the room is floor to ceiling windows with a view of the water and central Copenhagen. Breakfast included automated coffee from a vending machine (better than expected) and a selection of rolls, pastries, cheese, butter and jam. The location is convenient to public transportation or you can rent bikes in Christianshaven which also has a variety of places to eat.

After seeing so many poor reviews of 3 and 4 star Copenahgen hotels, we were impressed with reviews of this hotel on a boat. Just 12 cabins but very comfortable (twin) beds and fact that floors were polished wood with underfloor heating meant dry, clean and warm. Breakfast is continental and just fresh rolls and pastries with cheese and oj, but quite suffcient. Manager very friendly; helped book restaurants. River quiet at night so window could be left open facing river. WiFi worked well. Not for those who need lounges or common facilities, but easy walk to restaurants. Next to a bridge that runs directly to HC Andersen Boulevard and 10 minutes from Tivoli Gardens and Town Hall. Boat hardly moves though - if a riverboat passes only just possible to feel movement. Main station 10/15 minutes walk; we took Metro from airport to Christianshavn and walked 250 yards to get to CPH Living. Romantic for couples. We had a great weekend.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. The service was excellent--we were able to check our luggage early in the morning (we had just arrived from a trrans-atlantic flight) and the fellow who checked us in said that had they not been full he would have simply given us a room. The hotel is comprised of twelve rooms--all with floor-to-ceiling windows over looking the water--a small lobby with a coffee machine (free for all drinks: coffee, hot water for tea [bags available], hot chocolate, etc.), a vending machine, and a free continental breakfast. The location was very good as most of the main things we wanted to see were reasonably close, and the Christianshavn metro station is a quick 10 minutes away. The park across the street, comprising of old ramparts, is nice too. The room was on the basic side, but was clean and really the thrill was to be able to look at the water 24/7. I would return here without hesitation.
