“Don't get fooled downtown, go Crowne Plaza”
Reviewed July 8, 2012 via mobile

I have spent many nights in several hotels in Copenhagen, and this is simply the best value for **** hotels. The rooms are well-sized, with beautiful design and sound-isolated. The service is impeccable, the prices are competitive, and the breakfast/food is delicious. Choose an exec room for more space and lounge access - worth the extra cost.

And it's CO2 neutral!

The trains run all the time and the trip is a handful of minutes. On our last stay we chose in two hotels, this one and a new boutique hotel downtown (see my separate review for that one). Had we known better, we would have stayed at the Crowne Plaza throughout our visit.

We stayed here for several days before and after our cruise. The free airport shuttle was very convenient. The rooms were sleek, large and very quiet. We also really appreciated the security features which were part of the hotel. The metro and the train were located a quick 10 minute walk away, as was the large shopping center (for a "taste" of a mall in Denmark!). Many people took advantage of the "smorgasbord" buffet offered for breakfast, though we are not accustomed to a large meal for breakfast so we didn't opt for this. This is a real value in staying outside of the city and we will choose to stay here again on our next visit.

we stayed 3 nites before our Baltic cruise. It is very conveniently located to the airport and has a free shuttle, Also close to train and underground which takes just a few minutes to city centre.Rooms are fine. Unfortunately, the service in the club lounge leaves far to be desired. Items once finished are not replenished - so much so that we had to call the supervisor. The coffee machine was forever out of order - staff in that lounge most unwilling to help and totally disinterested The checkin staff equally inefficient. We had a triple room confirmed but when the 3rd person tried to check in he was made to pay $250 for a separate room. The manager did try his best to appease us all by refunding the money and points but overall not a good experience

Stayed here for a couple of days while doing sightseeing in Copenhagen. Although the hotel is outside the city center, it is easy to get to the center using either subway or regional train (10-15 mins) from a stop that is essentially across the street. I wouldn't regard that as a serious shortcoming. The advantage of staying a little bit further out is that you get much more value for your money. You get a very modern room with free wireless internet. The rate I booked included buffet breakfast, which was exceptional. The selection of pastries, yogurts, cheese, cereals, juices, and egg products was one of the best I've seen. The only negative of the hotel was that, similar to many hotels in this part of Europe, the shower/tub has only a partial glass divider so inevitably the bathroom floor is soaked after a shower.

We have stayed here twice now as a family, both times we have had interconnecting rooms.
We have used bar, room service, club lounge and restaurant and found all the staff to be friendly, helpful, and courteous, even the reservation staff who we dealt with before we arrived.
Really enjoyable stays.
We will no doubt be back, we loved Copenhagen, and it's only a short hop Iover the order to Malmo too.
Would definately stay here again.
Last visit the restaurant staff were so sweet to our young son and daughter too.

Stayed for 3 night with my family. Truely value for money as what is written in other review.
Hotel is clean and located within 5 min walk to the metro (though from the metro to city centre take about 15 min), with a big shopping mall nearby.
Helpful and friendly staff also make our holiday more enjoyable. The best is that they provide us the extra bed for my 4 yrs old kid without charges. Breakfast is fantastic and nice.
Only regret is that I am not able to find the free shuttle bus from Airport to the Hotel, in the end I have to take a cab from the Airport.

The Hotel has freindly and efficient staff. We stayed on one of the club floors with spacious immaculately presented room with extremely comfortable bed, large LCD TV and comprehensive minibar. Room was super quiet. The views were sensational.

Club floor service was efficient. Cocktail hour had good variety of drinks and different selection of food choices daily.

The Metro rail system is a 5 minute walk away. Discounted tickets available at the concierge counter. The Metro takes you to a variety of downtown stops. A huge shopping centre (one of the biggest in Scandinavia) is also only a 5 minute walk from the Hotel.

This Hotel is a 30 euro taxi ride away from the city. Inconvenient to take local train with suitcases in hand as we arrived at Copenhagen Central Rail Station. Still...well worth the stay as you would pay more than double the room rate in the city for something lesser in quality. Would be very convenient for someone needing to be closer to the airport with free shuttle service on offer.

Room Tip: The higher the better for great views .Even better if you score a corner room like we did!
