We stayed at the Crown Plaza for one night prior to and following a Baltic cruise. The rooms, on each occasion, were spacious, spotlessly clean and pleasantly furnished in a modern style. Beds extremely comfortable. Safe in room. Ironing board and iron also in room. Price of our rooms for each night were approx $233.- incl 25% vat. Complimentary shuttle bus available from/to airport. Go to the Sixt Car Rental booth at Kastrup airport and they will call the shuttle bus for you and direct you to where it will pick you up. Taxi from this hotel to the cruise ship pier costs approx $50.-
All the hotel staff we encountered were always very pleasant and helpful in answering our questions. The large Fields shopping centre is a short walk from the hotel and on the opposite side of the road to the metro which will get you into the centre of Copenhagen in about 10 minutes. A quiet location outside the central area of the City representing great value and easy access to the City and Airport.. Will be sure to stay there again should the occasion arise.

Our family (parents and two teenage daughters) stayed here for a couple of days. We had a family room - which in fact was two large connected rooms each with their own private facilities - and perfect for us.

We also had access to the lounge which was excellent for buffet breakfast and a wind down drink in the evening plus PC's with internet access.

Although the hotel is out of town, there is a train and tram station next door with very fast access to the city centre etc. There is also a a large shopping centre around the corner.

All in all this hotel is a very good place if you want easy access to the city but a quiet location overnight.

I wasn't sure about the location, but this hotel is centrally located and within very fast and easy access to both central Copenhagen and the airport. Free airport shuttle service included and located within 5 minutes of CPH. The city center is within easy reach.....a 5 minute walk to the train station by the hotel, and in 6 minutes you are in front of Tivoli and the Stroget. I've stayed at other hotels in the city centre and have spent more time walking to places. The breakfast at the hotel is fab as well and Internet is Free! There is a great mall by the train station.....the largest in Scandinavia. There are restaurants, many shops and also a big "walmart" type of store called Bilka with a grocery store. If you are looking for Scan decor, this is the cheapest place and I found some items far cheaper here than the city center.

Really friendly staff. Great location near the metro, Field's shopping centre and close to the airport with a free shuttle service to the airport. Very environmentally friendly. Very new, clean and green. Only let-down was breakfast buffet which was the same the whole 5 days we were there. But would definitely recommend it. Reasonably priced and seems like it's always teeming. Great hotel in a great city.

The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the hotel is environmentally friendly, and the location (next to a shopping center and a Metro station only ten minutes into the city center) manages to be both quiet and convenient. So why only four stars? The "free, high-speed Internet" is really neither. You're allowed only 1 MB of free Internet--above that you need to pay 50 DKK for 2MB, 75 DKK for 5MB, and 99 DKK for 8MB. A single 256 kbps MP3 file can easily run up to 8MB, so in other words, you can buy an MP3 online for 0.99 USD but if you want to download it at this hotel you'll have to pay the equivalent of 20 USD for the bandwidth! Furthermore, the wireless signal is weak and the router takes a long time validating your device's identity every time you want to sign on. In an age when Internet connectivity is a necessary lifeline to the world and essential for productivity, this is a regressive and stingy policy. Once it is addressed, Crowne Plaza Hotel will really be the perfect place to stay in Copenhagen.

(Note: I was careful not to test the limits of my free Internet access, so it's possible that what was advertised as "1 MB/2MB/5MB/8MB" of Internet was actually referring to the download speeds, i.e., "1mbps/2mbps/5mbps/8mbps," and that the volume of data is actually unlimited. If that is the case, they need to use the proper units to avoid any misunderstanding.)

This is a very interesting hotel, it is somewhat out in the wilderness being about 10 mins from the Airport and about another 15-20 to the centre by taxi. The setting is for the present is a bit bleak as there seems to be a lot of stalled construction on the horizon, and its very close to the motorway a conference centre and a shopping centre. It is however withing walking distance of the metro line so its not exactly marooned.
It is very design led with a somewhat industrial feel to the public spaces, however there is a bar, again quite stark like the dining/breakfast area. The management make a big statement about it being the "Greenest Hotel" in Denmark but there is noting wrong with that and in fact makes it an intersting topic to explore are ound the hotel
The rooms are comfortable and well laid out, air con works which is good as you cant open the windows which are wired shut, especially on the high floors, views are fine if you like looking and industrial landscapes or planes landing at the airport, which I do.
Breakfast is great, very healthy with a good selection of organic produce.
A very good hotel especially if you arrive late into CPH, or have business by taxi the next day, but as a base for exploring Copenhagen its just a bit too far out. But you can land some great dels if you book early, so its convinence over cost.
