I stayed there for 2 nights and would stay there again, unless you have a large suitcase that you have to carry from the central station to the hotel, like I did.
The hotel is located a 10-15 min walk from the central station, in a weird area, but the hotel is very clean and new. The room was smartly planned and looks great. They have free wifi, breakfast (not included) and sell some snacks and coffee in the lobby. You can also hang out in the lobby area, that has some chairs and couches and tvs.

Staying here is like staying at a standard hotel in budget hotel prices. One night costed less than $100 CAD/US and it was one of the better hotels I've stayed in Europe. It's a fairly new hotel so it's pretty clean. The service was nice too.

My personal advice is to close your curtains before you shower. The bathroom is see through. Also there are extra sheets inside the bed drawer. Took me a while to figure out.

Location was alright considering it being at the railyards and a distant to the train station. With the bus service you can take the 11A to and from the hotel.

We booked this for a New Year Break and we were delighted with our choice. If your priorities are convenient location (check), free wi-fi (check) and good value (check) this hotel has all this and more. What sets this hotel apart from the usual run of the mill bargain basement hotels is it's modern and chic aesthetic - the rooms are quite small but everything looks cool and there are nice touches as bikes for rental, automatic check in and check out, flat screen tvs. Given things are expensive in Copenhagen why not stay here and save your well-earned dosh?
Finally, the breakfasts here are good for continental breakfast - plenty to eat and nice tasty rolls.

Room Tip: Probably worth having a room on one of the upper floors as you have more of a view.

Nice room centrally located. Public transport easily used and very regular. Good continental breakfast. Clean and room makes the most of the space. Would stay here if I ever visit Copenhagen again. Like the other review comment about Sci-Fi type room. Very compact shower toilet area.

Whilst the hotel might be slightly further out from the central train station, Tivoli, and the main shopping streets than other hotels it's still a good base for exploring Copenhagen being only a 10 minute walk at most (or quicker bicycle ride) away from the train station.

The hotel has a very modern feel for the traveller(s) who might be on a budget, with some lovely design features. I would recommend it over many other hotels in a similar price range, as long as you don't mind walking. The large window and frosted glass walls used for the bathroom area gives the room a bright and open feel.

Although there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, I'm sure that if you're visiting Copenhagen you would prefer to drink that at one of the numerous cafes, bars etc. Or better still try some of the different varieties of Carlsberg and Tuborg beers as well as more specialist ones from the microbrewries that have popped up over the years.

Had an enjoyable stay at Wakeup Copenhagen. The location is great - about 10 minutes to walk to the Tivoli Gardens, 15 minutes into the centre.

On arrival, our room wasn't ready yet. They have a locker room downstairs where you pay 20DKK to put your bag in. The lockers are of varying sizes and when we got down there, they had no lockers remaining that would accommodate our suitcase. With several hours still until our room would be ready and not wanting to hang around the hotel til then or wander around Copenhagen lugging a suitcase, we went back to reception and asked if they had any other ideas. With this, they managed to move our room around so we got one that was available. We were pleased with that outcome :)

The rooms are ok - we had a standard room (double) and it was rather compact. No wardrobe, just a couple of hooks to hang this up. But for a weekend break, it's sufficient.

We also had breakfasts included. The breakfasts are quite simple but nice - continental - different breads, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, jams, chocolate spread, tea, coffee, juice, cereal. All in all, not bad.

I recommend this hotel for people on a budget. If you're looking for luxury, you won't get this here. No frills, but for what myself and my boyfriend were looking for, it was just the ticket.

Room Tip: If you can, ask for a room on the river facing side. This is because the train tracks run on the ent...

We used this place for a quick visit of the Danish capital - mostly on foot.

Location
The location is good, although a little off the central downtown axis that goes through the main train station and the Tivoli, which is about a ten minute walk away. The west of the downtown area (e.g. Kobyen) is also cut off a little by the railroad tracks, so you need to walk around to the main station and then enter that part of town.

Rooms / Value
The Wakeup otherwise offered clean, new rooms and mostly quiet, no fancy stuff - just as we prefer it. Compared to the other offers, this was apparently good value for money, but perhaps even a bit more expensive than an equivalent London accomodation (e.g. IBIS or Tune). Lacking the experience of repeated visits to Copenhagen, this is where I am unsure if it was a good price for Copenhagen or just a bit pricier than it should be.

Other:
For travellers by car: If you are lucky, you may find a parking spot nearby at the side of the road.

They offered bike hires when we visited.
