Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade

For a two-star hotel, not bad. Clean hotel and rooms. Note: you have to insert your keycard into this white box to turn the power on in the room. I like the shower however it is difficult to shave bc they is nowhere to put your legs on. The bed was comfy.

The bus stops are a block & half away, not bad. Felt safe walking in the area at night as a single woman & the police headquarters is up the street. Good location as it is very close to the train station.

Room Tip: Doesnt matter it is a clean facility.

This was a late booking for a business trip. The hotel is bright and quite large, nicely set out and quite spacious. The rooms were also quite good and I had a very nice view from a room on the 12th floor.

It's in reasonable walking distance of many amenities if a little remote.

Very clean, very functiona and the rate was quite good. Overral a nice hotel.

The hotel overall had an average feeling !!

Location : Quite off track - though not very far from the Central station but still not accessible to public transport.

Cleanliness : Exceptionally clean and good looking interiors.

Washroom : The shower temple is small enough. It can be comfortable for a kid, but not at all for a man.

Internet : The Wi-fi connection was quite good. I did not face any problems.

Other + points : Comfortable bed, Good quality TV.

Other - points : Paper cup for drinking water, Open - "staring at you", in-room dustbin, only 1 key-card given which also activates the electricity in the room - thus you cannot leave the room allowing the laptop to be charged, while you finish a small walk, space is less inside the room.

The Surprise : For a single printout request they charge almost 10 Euros. Not only this, when I told the receptionist that I had spent my last 3 nights, consecutively in Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo where the cost of living is almost the same and in those places the hotel did not charge or did not charge so much for the printouts, he said that he feels this is the right charge !!

This was not only illogical - it was a bit stubborn, showing the orthodox attitude to just stick to your point.

Ultimately as I just took 2 pages of print out, (which I got free in Helsinki in a cheaper hotel than this) my value of this Hotel actually lowered a lot.

Room Tip: If you can spend - choose a different hotel. If you cannot, try not to take any extra service from t...

Stayed for one night. We arrived very late and it is about a 10 minute walk from the train station - although you do go past some large empty buildings (big post office) with not many people around. Hotel room was great. Clean and functional. I really liked the self-service check-in which even gives you the room key! The only drawback was that on checking out it automatically tried to charge us twice! - but they were sorting that out as we left so it wasn't a problem. Note that in the room there is a spare pillow, blanket under the bed as we were about to go back to the reception to get another one but it is written in the room information that they are there. We would definitely stay there again. We didn't try the breakfast as we had a brunch down by the canal. We also ended up storing our luggage in the train station (50 Krone) as we looked around Copenhagen during the day but it would've been cheaper to store it at the hotel.

I had expected a bigger room, but actually I didn't miss the space. Its was clean and nice though the toilet smelled.
I was a bit dissapointed by the breakfast but good coffee and bread.
It is very central and near the trainstation and if you get a room with window to the railway you might have a lot of noice, but what could you expect if you want to sleep central?

The hotel is centrally located very close to the railway Terminal and downtown. The Terminal is 12 minutes walk from the hotel but there is a convenient local bus 11A which can bring you to the Terminal as well as to many of the sights. The hotel is very modern, laconic, clean. The rooms are very small ( we had a standard double) with the toilette inside the room surrounded by the glass wall. It's not very convenient but it was the only affordable hotel in the centre of the city. The breakfast is good for the 2 star hotel.

Lived there for three nights in october and loved it. I was travelling alone and the hotelroom was just the size I needed, not too small or too big, but it was in my opinion definitly a one- or two- person type of hotel. They got a nice room in the basement for luggage storing that only costs 20 danish kroner. The whole hotel looks amazing and has a really cool style. The rooms are, as said not to big, but also looks really nice. I had a good view of the train station and although the trains were going at all times there were almost no noise at all. The beds are comfy and the breakfast is good. Maybe a little small, but for me it was enough to choose between. The TV has a lot of channels and the Wifi works great! The staff is friendly and really helpful. This was my first stay alone at a hotel and it was a nice place to come back to in the evening. Definitly staying here again if I get the chance!
