“Decent meal - but winelist is way too expensive”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

Meal was decent but felt a bit without character; everything was nicely prepared but without a wow-effect. Too much emphasis on presentations rather than taste. I felt as if the restaurant is trying a bit too hard to be "gourmet". The dessert was excellent and the best part about the meal. Service was friendly.

Biggest drawback is that the winelist is extravagantly overpriced - their cheapest bottles will set you back 475 DKR (around 90$ US). For that price you would expect something quite spectacular and an enthusiastic staff to go with it - but that we did not experience unfortunately.

“My favorite italian restaurant in Copenhagen”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

This restaurant combines many good values. The food is very well prepared and always tastes delicious, but don't expect to try something very creative. The atmosphere encourages a more informal attitude, albeit the service has always been friendly and professional.
This restaurant is especially memorable for it's trademark of always (can only speak for my 4 visits) serving many tiny starters such as marinated baby octopus, baccala with potatoes etc.
Also if you are in luck they will serve freshmade pasta with rabbit ragout or clams...sorry just got hungry, got to leave ;-)

“Bad Night”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

I do not agree with the other TA reviews. Nice decor. Food was just above average Service started out fine--- then went south. Wine list has a lot of over the hill Toscano's.
Keep looking for a better Italian in Copenhagen.

A very charming italian restaurant with focus on the sardinian kitchen. The food and wine was fantastic and the service excellent. I will certainly be dining in San Giorgio again. Thank you for great evening
