“Surprisingly delightful.”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

Stumbled on this establishment when looking for dinner after spending the day viewing the White Cliffs. Had wandered around, and saw high prices for sub-standard food at other more visible places. When we walked in, it appeared to be a small buffet, but as you go further into the restaurant, it was charmingly decorated. The buffet is one price, and then you pick the meat dish you want, and they cook it to order and bring it to your table. The side dishes and salads were much tastier than the usual "Danish" buffet style, and the meat was extremely good! You are given a key, which "reads" what drinks you get from the self service drink fountains, but regular water is available free of charge (unusual in most restaurants.) It was a great meal to end a wonderful day. Would recommend reservations. We lucked out, but they became completely full in short order after our arrival.

“Good food in a quirky little place”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

The combination of a butcher shop (which also sells salmon steaks and the like), mircrobrewery, quirky antique shop and garden restaurant right on the main street of the main little town on the isle of Møn works quite well. While the staff could be a little more smiling and service- minded (maybe they were understaffed on our visit?) the food is nothing to complain over - on the opposite. Excellent salad bar which provides enough options for vegetarians like us.
After a long walk on, along and under the White Cliffs of Dover, sorry Denmark, we were hungry enough, and were replenished in a good way.

“Salad Bar and Meat”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Ate here twice on trip to 'White Cliffs of Møn'. Very good dinner with full salad bar, local microbrewery beer and an adjacent butcher shop full of steak, lamb, turkey and salmon - our party of four had one of each and all were expertly prepared. Also had Ceaser Salad for lunch which was loaded with excellent Danish cheese. All desserts looked good; we shared brownies which were moist and tasty. Service is fine but a bit unusual; you get a key fob that measures the amount you drink and pay at the till after your meal. All in all very good value for money.

“meget hyggelig . (Very Cosy)”
Reviewed March 11, 2013 via mobile

A very nice restaraunt and one i have used many times. Its very cosy. Warm and inviting. The food is very fresh however sometimes it can be a little overdone. The service queue can also be a little confusing as the restaraunt doubles up as a butchers and therefore you end up in the queue with customers who are not using the restaraunt. That being said i like the restaraunt very much it offers good warm food in a great atmosphere and lovely surroundings. I can certainly reccomend. Also a point of interest its worth noting that the restaraunt sells antiques & collectables/ furniture etc. You can buy most things that are on display. even the table you are sat at if you wish. this is a very unique idea and they do have some nice pieces. I must point out one more thing the restaraunt opens at 9am however the pathway for disabled people to enter the restaraunt is not open till after 12pm . This is something that needs to be addressed in my opinion.
