For a small town in a remote corner of summer-time Denmark, this restaurant is a pleasant surprise. There are your typical touristy pizza and sandwich venues. For the same cost, you can eat tasty fresh food, thoughtfully prepared and creatively presented. The salads and sandwiches are huge. No one will go hungry. We ordered: "mouldy cheese sandwich" = brie/camembert type cheese with pear and salad, a mountain of yum; warm goat cheese pie with marinated onions; a vegan salad. It all tasted as if it was picked fresh that morning. The kids breakfast - waffles, fruit, cheese, looked amazing. Wished I was 5 and there for breakfast.
The charming looking garden was full, as were the six or so tables inside. The full restaurant is not the fastest dining experience, but this is Denmark's vacationland, not New York City. Service was of a pace to be expected, but you wouldn't want to stop in if you were in a rush.
