“Very good food but space for improvement”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

We had a business dinner at this restaurant. The menu is short but I believe everybody will find something. The food itself was very good and tasty.
Unfortunately the service was not as expected. We had to wait for drinks and it was just not so friendly as I expect for such restaurant.
The location is very central.

“Competent restaurant at the Britannia Hotel”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

Ate dinner at "Brassieri B" (aka the hotel's in-house restaurant) while staying at the Britannia Hotel and found it surprisingly good. The braised cockerel with home smoked was excellent by any standards. Nice to have a decent place to eat dinner if you don't have time or don't want to wander go too far.

Also ate breakfast buffet in the same place the morning after. That was not quite as good. First we were shepereded away from the window tables (apparently these had been set for lunch and therefore off limits to breakfast guests - why?) They had an excellent spread of continental breakfast items, but the cooked choices were a let down - sausages okay but not great, ditto the bacon - and "scrambled eggs" were of the industrial powdered type ie.. tasted like protein mush. That said, one probably doesn't have many breakfast options in this town...

“It´s getting better and better”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

Brasserie B gets better and better. The kitchen has evolved tremendously recent years. The menu is varied, there´s a good winelist, the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed and the staff is polite. When we are going out for evening with our customers, this is my preferred restaurant in Esbjerg at the moment.
