A very basic hotel with a high price tag. However for the area at the time we were visiting this is the cheapest we could find.
Fantastic location which is walking distance from the airport. No noise at night as there are no flights at this time.
Clean and basic room. No bath and not very hot water.
Very helpful staff and they have a luggage room to put your luggage in before check in (this was ideal for us as we had an early morning flight so arrived 3 hours before check in)
Free shuttle to town which stops at legoland was very efficient and useful. Great service.
Note there is no food available other than breakfast so you either have to walk to the airport cafe or get the bus to town. We went to town but the last free bus back is 8.30pm.

Room Tip: Ground floor has no privacy at all due to large windows!!

Four sleeping places in three levels were crammed into an already small room. That was the largest downside. No restaurant but nice pizza service. Another possibility is to eat at the airport. Very basic breakfast. Hotel is in easy walking distance from terminal. Very nice staff.

Let's start with some positive notes, the hotel is located at 5minutes walk from the airport of Billund so you can sleep until one and a half hour before departure. And you can order pizza to be delivered in the hotel.
But the room and the service are direct copies from F1 hotels in France. The price on the other hand... 140€ for a room without any luxury, ironing board, hair dryer or whatever....

Room Tip: Ask for a room with view on the airport, the view on the other side is nothing....

Rooms are dark, only one lamp in the ceiling where you enter(but some reading lamps hangs on the bed wall). First hotel I ever saw without a phone and the internet was so poor that I eventually dropped using it. Staff are sweet, but do not acknowledge criticism and behaves like they cannot do anything about it.

To define this hotel "Spartan" would be a compliment.
It is super basic, with cheap laminate furniture, not to mention the mini bathroom; 1.90x1,20 m. One dispenser with soap near the small sink (shampoo? soap? who knows?) There is not even a bath mat to put on the floor. After the shower it gets completely flooded anyway.
In normal conditions it would be classified two stars, only because of the television set and a free WiFi, otherwise it would be a miserable "one star" hotel.
There is no restaurant, so you either take the car or a taxi or you must eat at the airport.
It is clean. It's also the only alternative to the even dearer hotel that is near "Legoland".
But this does not justify the outrageous price of DKK 1199 (= EUR 160,72 = USD 218.40)
Breakfast NOT included (that is another DKK 89 (= EUR 11,93 = USD 16.21)
So the total is DKK 1288 (= EUR 172,65 = USD 234,61) for one person!!
I found cheaper hotels near the aiport in Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki (capitals!). And much nicer.
This is practically comparable to the French chain "Formule 1" but with a private bathroom, only at three times the price.
I only stayed because of 5:50 AM flight, but for sure this would be the very last option next time.
