“If you like Lego, excellent and if you don't a nice stay”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Stayed here on a business trip (very handy for Billund Airport) while the resort was closed. I had three customers with me and none of us had any complaints. The room was a good size and was very clean. Bathroom and shower were excellent and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. We left too early for breakfast although the staff offered to make something for us. All the staff were very helpful. If you are visiting Legoland it is perfect with a short walk to the entrance and the airport is 1.5 miles away.

Once you get past the whimsical decor, this is a tired hotel long overdue for renovation. It was apparently built in 1968 and certainly looks it. The only meal we had was breakfast, which was "okay." On the other hand, the service at the front desk and in the bar was outstanding.
The location was great for us, so we will return, but with realistic expectations of what we will find.

had good time but only when we came home did we find out from the grandchildren that on chatting to other children they were informed they had been given free badges it transpires that you only get these if in premium room when we asked customer services re this they failed to comment and i am still awaiting reply we were in 2 rooms the pirate room and kingdom room but not the premium surely in this day and age thats bad come on we are not on the queen elizabeth cruise ship, this an area for children, why are they penalising children the rooms should all be the same will think twice before taking them again might as well stay in hotel nearby as we had a few issues re hotel but we won't go into that the main issue now is that at the end of the day it is a 2 tier hotel and thats not good

Rooms are spacious and very child friendly. Have everything you'll need for family vacation. Breakfast was great, but lunch and dinner was below average for all you can eat buffet.Hotel perfectly located inside LEgoland, easy access to all rides.

Once you get past the spectacular Lego Darth Vadar & Dragon there is sadly nothing about the hotel to impress.

My room was very basic and the decor outdated, the walls clearly needed a coat of paint and many of the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom were broken or damaged. My initial excitement at staying in the Lego hotel was deflated by the reality, the only positive that I wasn't travelling with children and so my disappointment was only for myself.

You pay 700 ISD pr night for small room jigged wit beds on the wall, plastic glasses, soap in dispensers on the wall, tv hanging from the roof as there is no place elswhere, pillows and bedsheets that are completely warned out, breakfast with poor selection, hostile reseptionists, no trolly for luggage, you need to carry all your luggage half a kilometer, no activities for kids that does not play with lego, biliatd or chess! Even babies need to pay at ghe buffet dinner :(.
Overall, from Europe fly to Florida an go to Disney. Twice as much fun for half the price! Legoland is driven by a gready company that are sucking the money out of you! Stay away!

Hotel Legoland is just what kids - and adults - expect at Legoland. Lego galore. But more importantly, staying on property at this posh hotel made touring Legoland a breeze. You can park at the hotel, enter Legoland through the hotel, easily take a break when you want it (or if little ones need it), etc. It is a bit pricey, but you can buy discount tickets to the park with a hotel stay, which helps (2 days for less than price of one day at the gate).

The kids loved the in-room lego and view of the park. The adults loved the comfortable room and beds. Included breakfast buffet was superb.
