We have stayed here several times now, and we will probably come back again. The Aquadome water park is just great for the kids. It needs some renovation soon, but all in all it is still a great experience for the kids. Especially the rides which are all great fun. The cabins are in general very good, but it is recommended to ask for Wi-Fi when you book your stay.

Room Tip: Ask for Wi-Fi when you book your cabin. Then you will probably get a newer cabin

The good
The house we rented for a family of 2 adults and 2 children was spacious and had a good kitchen in a green and quite area.
The Aquadom is fun and it has more than enough different pools and slides for all ages to enjoy for a few hours, not really for a few days.

The bad
Prices are absurd, and service is simply poor, managed mainly by teenagers you get a smile but no value for money. The restaurants are expensive and the food is mediocre, not up the the price levels.

The houses are a 10 minute walk from the Aquadom and activities, and they offer a train ... the train is supposed to go every 30 minutes, but most of the time we had to walk (often under the rain) because it was impossible to understand the timetable, or the driver was having a brake ... really not driving every 30 minutes at all.

The house is extremely expensive compared to similar housing in other places, but everything is extra, bedding and towels, water and electricity, wifi ....

The place could be really amazing, but the management is really mediocre, it makes you feel they are constantly ripping you off.

We had a "funtastic" 3 days family getaway in Lalandia Resort. Situated right next to LegoLand it offers a great location, services and self catering lodging solutions.

We stayed in a 4 bedroom challet with 4 adults and 5 kids. Ameneties were clean, working and highly appreciated by all.

The 3 days were filled with activities in both Legoland and Lalandia. Be it slightly heavy on the wallet we did have a fantastic time.

The only downpoint we found was the electricity and waterbill at the end of the stay. Surely in these times all these costs should be included into the package deal.

Room Tip: Make sure to enjoy both LegoLand and Lalandia but on separate days. Its so action packed you can't do it all in one day.

We went during british school summer half term (2 x adults and 2 x children (6 yrs and 3 yrs). The Danes and the German half term is not during the same week so the hotel deal was very good and Legoland was not that busy. A good time to go.

Lalandia itself is a great resort; accommodation was in a Classic plus 4 - it was clean, spacious, full equiped (cooker, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and all pots, pans and all the cutlery you would need (even 2 x sets of childrens cutlery). Bedding is not included in the basic price, however the bungalows contain heat exceptionally well, so a cotton sheet is all that was required throughout the night (temp outside was 8 - 12 degrees celius but temp inside bungalow was > 18 degrees celcius with heating turned off). If anything bring a couple of fans, especially when it heats up in Jul and August! Within Lalandia resort the swimming pool and Monky Tonky Land (indoor play park) were incl in the price; the pool is simply incredible and costs in excess of 80 euro for a 2 + 2 family for a day pass - the best pool I have ever been too ever (slides for all ages, under pool aquarium, giant kids water play park, multiple pools, etc, etc; Monky Tonky Land is a large indoor play area, it is clean and modern and kids will spend a couple of hours in there no problem.

Legoland is a 20 - 25 mon walk from accommodation and a 10 min walk from the Lalandia centre. Once we parked up the car we did not use it again until we left. However, it you arrive by aeroplane I have no idea how you get from the book in to your accommodation outwith a long sweaty walk! The train only works on Thursdays outside of peak periods.

Room Tip: Try to get a copy of the map and pick a bungalow as close as possible to the Lalandia centre.

We stayed for 3 days at Lalandia Classic 4 holliday home (May 2013) 2 adults and 1 child age 3. It is an ideal place for families to stay, clean and very accessible to Legoland and Lalandia Aquadome. The holliday home itself is clean and new. It is a family friendly village that the whole family can enjoy their stay.
