“Not that it means a lot but probably the best Italian in Aarhus”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2013

A nice Italien restaurant with a great view of the Marselisborg harbour and a view over the sea and the Marselisborg forrest. Both indoor and outdoor seating.

'Nice calzone with fresh ingredients The pizza we tried had great filling but the pizza crust was not fully crisp as it is supposed to be. The calzone was very crisp and with a great taste.

This is probably the best Italian restaurant in Aarhus, but that do not say much. They have a large selection of modern Italian food with many traditional pasta dishes, but it's a bit more up-scale than most other Italian restaurants in Aarhus. The pizza's was 50% more expensive that the usual prices in Aarhus. The calzone was worth it - the pizza not.

But I will go there again - no doubt

“Terrible service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2013

We were there for a family-dinner. Excellent location by the harbour, suiting interior. My starter was nice, my main course was okay, but the service was terrible. First of all they messed up our orders so one us did not get what we ordered, which led to the correct dish being rushed through the kitchen to be served raw. Thereafter they had seemingly forgotten one serving, so one of sat without food while everyone else ate - even after asking several times it was not served. After everyone else was done, we decided to cancel our orders for dessert and leave. The ordinary waiters were more or less indifferent to our complaints, it was not until we contacted the head waiter we were given attention, and of course a discount on our failed dinner.

“Amazing fish soup”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

We were there for lunch and decided to go for the fish soup, bruschetta and the frokost tallerken.
Waiter was very nice, atmosphere great and waiting time ok.
The fish soup with shrimps was really something- very obvious on the basis of genuine soup base. One of the best we have tasted. Frokost tallerken was big and very varied. Bruschettas nicely laid out with ruccula underneath.
All in all good service, very tasty food and value for money. Might be expensive for some, but if you cannot afford it- go elsewhere.

“Specials very good--but expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

The 2 course dinner special for September included pan-fried scallops with small dumplings and pearl onions and desert I ordered the former as a main course and received only two scallops. The lime sorbet with tarragon meringue was excellent, but for $60.00US per person I expected more than two scallops, delicious as they were.
Fortunately my spouse ordered a tolerable vegetarian pizza, that was more filling and cheaper. Service was excellent, atmosphere charming--but I would recommend ordering a starter and a main--which I would hope would provide more food.
