“Nice meal and great service”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

Had dinner with friends at this place, and we had the menu and wine menu also. The food was nice, but not great great or wow at all. But what makes this place really good is the nice staff. They were very happy-go-lucky, knowledgeable and attentive/service-minded. We had a fantastic evening, and it didn't seem as there were full house, as there actually was this evening.

“Great set meal with very personal attention”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

Had a group meeting here. Five course meal, with four set glasses of wines very well matched to the food. Fish was the main ingredient of two courses. Smallish portions so you don not fell bloated on leaving. Everything seems to be made on site, including the butter and the ice-cream. Sat near the kitchen, so saw all the action. Each course was described well as it arrived, as was each wine. The wines were surprisingly excellent, mostly from France + one from Germany.
So you will be very pleased if you are open-minded, as the meal is set.
I will look forward to going there again.
Small compact place, so large groups might be an issue.

“A lovely nite out...”
Reviewed February 6, 2012

And night out it is, as this is a set menu restaurant. Food, presentation, wine parings are all excellent and well thought out. Ambiance is similar to that of L'Estragon in that it is quite a small place and a table for 2 can be shoehorned into the smallest of spots. Space aside (and it is soon forgotten once the food arrives), this is one of the 3 places we rotate for our monthly dinners out (other two being Restaurant ET and L'Estragon). Oh, and the head chef is delightful!

“Light up your Tuesday ! A cure for winter blues.”
Reviewed October 12, 2011

On a cold day visit this friendly little restaurant which welcomes you with oil lamps outside. Inside the attentive waiter will make you feel welcome and guide you through the meal. It´s a small but very homely place. And what a meal! 4 courses and 4 glasses of wellselected wines for 500 Danish Crowns. Perfect value for money.(This offer only Tuesdays and Wednesdays)Interesting new combinations of ingredients, rich flavours that leaves you more than satisfied at the end of the meal.Do not let the small portions fool you! What we had: crayfish, angler(an ugly, but tasty fish) beef, jaw meat from veal(the most tender meat one can imagine) all served with the most exquisite sidedishes. For dessert: icecream made of buttermilk, served with caramel, nougat, berries, meringues - a perfect end to our meal.
