“THE place for coffee in Aarhus”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

This is a place where coffee is taken very seriously, yet it is also a very welcoming place that will make you feel comfortable, even if you are a coffee-newbie. They sell coffee that they roasted them selves, and it is always freshly roasted, enabling you to bring the sublime coffee experience home, and for a very affordable price.
The best and one of the cheapest places for coffee in Aarhus. I come here all the time.

“Really great coffee, at a decent price”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

This place shows a real passionate love and respect for coffee.
Which is shown both in the inhouse roasting, and of the serving itself.
The baristas are not shy of talking about how the whole process, nor about accommodating individual wishes.

Also as one of the few places in town, they serve the coffee at the right temperature!
Meaning at that temperature where you get the full enjoyment out of the coffee in the first few minutes, which is also the time to actually drink your coffee (unlike some who prefer to sit with their coffee for +30 minutes, and fill it with sugar etc to totally ruin the taste).

Also the price, considering this is Denmark, is quite reasonable.

The location however isn't much to look at, it's in a backalley in a rundown old building, but they've made the best of it. Quaint is the best word to describe the place.

In conclusion: if you're looking for a place to sit and chat for hours on end, look elsewhere, but if you want a craft made cup of coffee, and move on, this is the place to go.

“Excellent coffee experience”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

The place is very cozy and nicely decorated. We had a cup of excellent black coffee and an ice coffee, which is one of the most extraordinary ice coffees I have ever had. It consisted of ice cubes, a double espresso shot, milk and a blueberry syrup stored on rowanberry wooden flasks. It tasted superb. I will definetely go back if I am ever in Aarhus again.

“Excellent coffee”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Great coffee in Århus. We have been traveling through Sweden, Germany and Denmark for some weeks, and were very ready for a proper cup of coffee. We had a cappuchino and an americano. It was excellent. Made our day!

“Definitely Overrated”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

The owner of the bar still need to study hard before proclaiming himself one of the best barista in the world.
I was to his Bar and I was served a cappuccino in a cup with no spoon no little plate and no sugar. This cannot even defined as a cappuccino.
Also, the temperature of the cappucino was colder that what it should be.

Part of the experience of drinking a Cappuccino is also the service and this was also poor!!!

Regarding the location, the place is a old warehouse with some secondhand old furniture. A little effort was put in decorating the place and making more welcoming. It was full of dust and dirty. I wonder how he could even get a food licence.
