Two "must see" in Aarhus. 9 floors of art - some great, others we just passed. A beer in the restaurant, and then a little more art. Very relaxed.

Exciting modern architecture. Interesting exhibitions - specially the temporary "Golden Age" - Danish paintings and drawings from 1800- 1850 put into a political and social context. A fantastic wiew over Aarhus.

The inside architecture of the building is a piece of art.
The exhibition of the critics choice - combines, in an innovative way, art from different periods in a very effective way. beautiful exhibits modern & 'traditional'. Visit the rainbow top floor the view is amazing.
Have lunch in the restaurant of the museum. The food is excellent & reasonably priced.

Smacked in the touristy part of Aarhus and within walking distance of the shopping street. Aros Aarhus, Kusnstmuseum, is a must if you are visiting Aarhus. It's an art museum. I enjoyed the circular skywalk called Your rainbow panorama by Olafur Elisson, which is at the roof of the building , you can around in a 150 meter long circular panoramic pathway that gives you a 360 degree view of Aarhus , through different color light.The other exhibit that caught my eye is THE boy by hyper realist scupltor , Ron Mueck. The awesomeness and sheer dimension 5 meters high and realism of this sculpture, just bluffed me. Worth the visit, just to see this sculpture!! The other works that I liked , was Distance by Jeppe Hein.
