On the strength of the reviews here, I checked this place out for lunch recently. Quite often, the restaurant occupying the number 1 spot on Trip Advisor can be a dud, but that was definitely not the case here.
The restaurant aspires to be a French brasserie, serving French classics as well as more adventurous dishes. I had a risotto with fish, lobster foam, and various other ingredients, and it was absolutely delicious. The tarte tatin was also worth the wait, a fantastic dessert.
In keeping with French authenticity, the coffee was quite terrible, but I should have expected that!
Apart from that I highly recommend this place.
