“Decent hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast.”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

The hotel is ok, kind of old but charming. the rooms are a bit noisy near the street side. My stay in the hotel was made very enjoyable because they have someone organising a running session at 7am in the morning. A good and healthy way to wake up.

If you're looking for a cheap hotel+breakfast @ < 90 € / night, then that's the one. Very basic hotel with clean rooms, good bed but no restaurant facilities at all. At 10 minutes distance, Odense Park great running facilities.

Stayed for another 24h meeting at this place. For our meeting the room are quite OK. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner are quite good - fine selection and quick replenishment.
The hotel is not new and it somwhat worn and torn, but kep in fine condition

Room Tip: Book a room away from the mani street

Stayed here for one night in October for business.

The location is right in the centre, only five mins. from the railway centre.

The reception is really nice with a classic Old-English lounge style to it. Staff really nice, check-in efficient and friendly.

As soon as you go to your room, it's another story. I wouldn't say the place looks run down, but it definately looks used, and in need of a brush-up.

The really appalling thing though, is the smell of mould, old carpet and other unpleasant things. The smell is in the doorways and in the rooms. It's kind of offputting though you get used to it.

Room was OK in size, but again looked used and in need of refurbishing. Looks like they haven't really done more that painted the rooms since some time in the mid eighties.

Everything works though, the wifi is good, and the bed was really comfortable and big.

Breakfast consists of bake-off bread, jam, choice of one cheese, tomato and cucumber. There was bacon with eggs too, with a pre-cooked look to it. Nothing special, no diabetic friendly offers.

I'd stay here again if it were cheaper, but it costs the same as better 4-star establishments in the area - and with the offputting smell and cheesy breakfast, this makes it a not-very-good deal.

They may sound bad, but bottom line is still I had a very good nights sleep, but the Hotel itself could do somewhat better for the price paid.

Room Tip: I don't have enough information to make a statement about this.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The oldfashioned furniture gave the room a special style that we liked. The breakfast buffe was good and there were free afternoon coffe and cakes. The staaf was very helpfull.
The hotel is situated near the centre and offered free parking.

Very nice hotel. Small with less than 25 rooms. All the rooms are different, so finding a room suitable to your needs is fairly easy. The hotel is located near the pedestrian mall and is a very short walk from the train station. The room rates are very reasonable.

I will definetly stay there again.

Room Tip: South side are quieter.
