Perhaps it was an unfortunate night, as there was just one waiter. He worked very hard, but it still took nearly 90 minutes for our main course to arrive. I could not recommed the service, although the waiter was apologetic.
Food wise, it wasn't bad at all. The vegetable and panner pakora starters were well cooked. They had a nice spicy batter, which was dry and crispy. With a fresh salad and raita, they made excellent starters.
My main was Channa Masala, which had a rich gravy and was on the spicier side of medium. My partner ad the dal makhani, which was nice but had a bit too much of a tomato base for a dal. Still, it was very tasty. One portion of pilau rice was fine for the two of us. The chapatis were quite thin and soft, just how I like them.
The restaurant does not serve alcohol, but it does have a license so you can bring your own.
The food was nice, and for veggies Paprika offers a good alternative in Odense. They just need to plan their staffing. At 370Dk for the meal, this is probably cheap by Danish prices, but it seemed quite expensive compared to my usual experience in the UK.
