First time to Skopolos and thoroughly 'chilled out'.
If you are looking for lots of local nightlife with numerous bars and tavernas then stay in Skiathos with all the youngsters. This hotel is plotted on a hillside so transport is recommended otherwise it would be difficult unless you stay in the hotel all day. The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated throughout. The views are stunning and the island is quite amazing. The food is excellent and cooked by Andromaki (mum). Breakfast is typical greek so don't go expecting a full english style 'fry up' ?
Antonios the owner and his family are extremely friendly people and will always help you if you need it in any way. Antonios actually took me out sea fishing on a couple of the evenings for a few hours. Great fun, Hilarious at times. Particularly as we were fishing for 'calamari (squid)'. Catch one of them and get your umbrella out lol !!
Vasili and Evelyn who help out at the bar and in the restaurant are also extremely nice people. If you are looking for a very relaxing holiday then this little place is paradise. Lovely people (as I think the Greeks are in general anyway by the way) and lovely position overlooking the Aegean.
I would definately recommend this hotel to those that are looking for a friendly, relaxing vacation.
IAs I said earlier though, if you want the fast lane with all of the nightlife go somewhere different.
Our thanks to Antonios, Andromaki, Evelyn and Vasili for a wonderful holiday and I would like to think that we can get back again next year...Will add photos asap

The Hotel must rate as one of the best if not THE best Greek hotels we have stayed in having visited around 40 Greek islands. There are big luxury 4/5* hotels but this is a small family run hotel with I think 8 luxurious rooms all individually designed with self catering facilities disguised as wardrobes! We were in the Superior studio for 3 and it was SUPERB! The whole family help with the running of the hotel and the food was delicious, and George (son) was so pleasant serving the food. There was a decent selection at breakfast( for greek breakfasts)The only downside for us was that you needed a car to get around so as non drivers(abroad) we probably didn`t get as much travelling done as we would have liked. Having said that Antonios (the owner) took us to the Mama Mia church and waited for us, which was wonderful as we would not otherwise have been able to visit it. Also his wife took us down to the port one day and we got one of the 3 a day buses back up, and another day she took us up to the village of Glossa so they couldn`t have been more helpful. Nearly forgot THE VIEW fabulous, one not to forget! All in all FANTASTIC. Thank you to the whole family,

Room Tip: All rooms are superb and have either a full or side sea view.

we have been more than once and always very satisfied. Rooms have wonderful views and are spotlessly clean, provided with everything needed to be confortable. The bar is super and the restaurant with traditional homemade style food is excellent. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: we tried 2 different rooms on two occasions, some have large terraces, others are smaller but there...

What a great hotel in everything. The hotel runs by a family who r so kind, so wonderful pepole which r ready to do anything to make your stay as wonderful as imagined. location very nice, about 40 minutes drive from skopelos main village in very nice road, only 5 minutes to the small beautiful village of Glossa. 2 minutes to the port of Loutraki. So if you like quiet and beautiful views so this is the right place.
The hotel is extremly clean and comfortable ,supplied with almost everything one needs. ,free wi-fi intrenet, free parking, good breakfast, the vieows r breathtaking.
We had bad luck with the weather bec it was raining, and cold for the whole three days of our stay, and almost all the restaurants were closed,we didnt konw that things only start to open in may :( , we drived by the beaches of the island, great views.
We will defenitly go back to this island and for sure for the same hotel. Thanks Georgios and family.

I booked this hotel online as a one night excursion from Skiathos, it looked perfect in the photos and totally lived up to my high expectations with amazing viewsand really friendly owners. We arrived a little hot just after lunch and were given a free drink and invited to cool off on the terrace, when we were later shown to our room we were stunned by the bright colours and funky decor. We spent the afternoon relaxing on the veranda admiring the spectaular view and drinking the owners own wine brought from his family home in Crete, not to be outdone his wife brought us a freshly baked, still hot, Skopolos cheese pie - fantastic!

Last summer I decided to go to an exotic Island!!! The best option was the Aegean Wave hotel in Glossa , Skopelos.
Not only the fantastic view, but also the friendly environment made me love the place from the first moment. Mrs. Mahis smile and her extraordinary abilities in traditional cooking made me feel like home. It was the perfect solution to relax and get out of everyday problems. At night time I had an unforgettable experience by learning Greek dances at the Aegean Wave club! I hope I will have the opportunity to go next year.
I recommend it for all ages and trust me you wont regret it.
