+ right near town (but not up a hill)
+ adequate room
+ clean
+ friendly staff
+ good price point for what you get
+ great bakery across a the road for breaky
+ close to buses around the island if you don't have a car and close to the boat tours to the other island

- bit older style, but its 3 stars and in Greece so this is quite typical and to be expected

Didn't have breaky there so can't comment on food.

Stayed there for 3 nights over a visit at the beautiful island of Skopelos. The hotel is very old and I wouldn’t expect to exceed my expectations but, sadly, I would expect more for the overpriced rate we paid. The room was located on the second floor and there was no access with elevator. The room was spacious enough, with comfortable beds, but we found the room not clean enough when we entered, especially the bathroom where we found hair from the previous tenant in the bath tub. The WiFi, although available, was not working always properly. I would encourage the management to make a very thorough fit out of the spaces in order to keep their rates.

We checked in this hotel, making the reservation on the same day, after being disapointed and leaving from the accomodation we inatially booked months in advance.
It is a nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff and spacious interiors and rooms.
It is clean, not very modern but more traditional and has a good feeling overall.
The double bed is quite big (1.80 m) and comfortable and we had a big, built in, hall wardrobe spacious enough for all our stuff.
Tip: if you are a light sleeper or you have small children don't get a room facing the main street. It's pretty noisy.

Great staff, clean rooms and great location!
I highly recommend it!It does not provide the latest in looks or technology but it's more of traditional accommodation.
Loved the friendly service, reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere!
Thank you for the hospitality and friendliness.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view!

I came from South Dakota. Amalia hotel is a very friendly place to stay with kindly people who are always helpful! Big room with good WiFi, swimming pool, nearby beach and inside the town! And with great view from the balcony..
