“Interesting museum”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

All honour given to the family and collector of this museum which is the only one to give some more information on history and life of Skyros. Worth a visit if you have time while on the island.

“A delightful evening”
Reviewed September 1, 2011

A wonderful evening spent watching the results of a week long bouzouki workshop involving almost twenty players. This is an annual event and well worth a visit!

“Mini museum, maxi interest”
Reviewed July 6, 2011

A small museum, packed with items of interest. It has the Faltaits family history, including numerous books and paintings: also several rooms giving a real flavour of local culture and history. Exquisite embroidery, costumes, earthenware - all giving an idea of family life in the past. We had an excellent guide and the tour was preceded by a glass of home-made wine and fruit. There is a small shop selling good quality gifts and cards. Quite tricky to move about in some places owing to steep steps, but well worth a visit. It is situated high up in the town, overlooking the sea, and the view is terrific.
