Only get so far by car ,but a lovely walk down a steep path gives you beautiful views of the bay . Very secluded until a boat trip arrives .

“Worth the drive”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

Thank God we had a 4x4 when we went to Kastro, because the street is rocky and steep. But when we finally arrived, we felt it was definitely worth it. The views are breathtaking, the old ruins very interesting and the beach all the way down is a very nice, secluded beach with a stream of clear water running in the middle (!). There is also a very nice small taverna with fresh fish and friendly service. Not to be missed.

Absolutely brilliant well worth a visit. You need a car to get there and is quite a uneven walk to get to but well worth a visit the views are fantastic

“History”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

Interesting . Beautiful little chapels and churches . Worth a visit but not suitable for those who don't walk so well or have little ones and buggies etc . Need transport to get there. It is worth it though if you like history .

“Kastro is a place full of history”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Kastro is a place full of history. We walked among the ruins of the old town and then down to the beach. It was crowdy but we stayed long and we realized that after 3p.m. only a few people stayed on the beach and it was perfect!
