I thought it appropriate to make a renewal of my previous review, since in my last visit thinks seems to have changed quite a bit.
The family left "La Scala" restaurant, which now operates under a new owner and tried to improve "Fenella's".
As a result the restaurant is no longer cheap and has enriched his menu, which now includes some gourmet dishes. Unfortunately the result does not justify the expectations, since the food quality does not meet the price. The scaloppini I got had too many fibers, that I couldn't finish it. The French fries that came with were good, but not the vegetables, which had little sauce and were tasteless.
The salmon ordered by my wife was well cooked, but in very small quantity, while the asparagus that came with the dish was not eatable.
We ordered also a salad with gorgonzola, which was tasteless, with little dressing.
The house wine was unacceptable, forcing us to get bottled.
For the above along with the bottle of wine we paid 81 Euros, too much for the quality of food offered to us.
Compared with our last visit, the quality of food has not changed (or even has become worse) and the owner has significantly raised the prices, so that it has lost its previous character - an affordable option for dinner in a pleasant environment.
The service remains good and the owner friendly and chatty. Of course the atmosphere is very nice and romantic, since the restaurant is placed in a small beautiful beach, in the old harbor.
