“Fantastic food, great views”
Reviewed November 18, 2011

The food was wonderful - this restaurant was a definite highlight of our trip to Spetses. We travelled with our baby and the restaurant immediately produced a high chair for him that they clicked onto the table. Great views from the restaurant area over the sea. If you go to Spetses, you must go to Patralis.

“Excellent seafood and exceptional service”
Reviewed September 12, 2011

Fish right from the sea. Served in a very traditional greek style. Service is excellent and cannot be compared to any other places.
Leaving the choice of fish to Nixos Patralis who is the owner of the restaurant, will save you from a lot of hard work of choosing your dishes. The side dishes are also very good and delitious. If your around you should go to Spetses, just for the sake of eating at Nixos restaurant.

“Good food, good wine plus good prices...”
Reviewed June 14, 2011

Value for money is hard to find in over-priced Spetses. Patralis offers good food (mostly seafood) in reasonable prices (better than the other restaurants in Spetses anyway) and a big enough wine-list in nice prices.
We had a table by the sea watching the beautiful view: the beach down is lit (and there were ducks swimming!) and we could see the lights of "Costa", the Peloponnesean coast just opposite from Spetses island. We enjoyed a white wine ("Adoli Gis" by Antonopoulos) at 20 euros (in Athens we find it at 25-35 euros at restaurants or 11+ at supermakets...) There are many nice bottles of wine at 18 euros (and less).
Fish "a la spetsiota" (portion at 10 euros) was delicious and very fresh (magiatiko fish was in season) and we used our bread to dip in the yammy sauce! Greek salad was big enough with good olive oil. We also ordered fresh grilled fish (~600gr). Melanouri was the day's catch at 50 euros per kilo (60 and more to other fish taverns).
Service was perfect and they offered us mini desserts (traditional Greek as baklava, karydopita and yogurt with spoon sweet) at the end. The bill for two was less than 70 euros, OK for fish!

*It's a 10-15' walk from Dapia and Poseidonion hotel (towards Kounoupitsa area, passing through "Nissia" hotel and just before "Spetses" hotel).
