This temple is lovely to see if you have extra time on the island. If you are only making a short day trip, I would instead recommend that you rent a car and instead prioritise a drive around the island, taking in the sights, and making the most of the beautiful beaches. Perdika also offers lovely restaurants with great food which you should instead opt to visit if you have to choose one or the other.

It is truly grand. A spectacular Temple located up on a mountain! It was truly worth it! Kids are free and 6 Euro per adult

Close to the northern seacoast of Aegina, looking both at Parthenon and Poseidon Temple at Sunion, it remains a must-to-visit temple despite the stealing of precious parts by German.

I almost don't want to leave a review of this place, because it's so stunningly tranquil. It's one of the best temple sites I've been to, and with very few visitors, too.

The Temple of Afaia Athina stands at the highest point of the island, just before the visitor starts descending to the resort of Agia Marina. It is well preserved, although empty of all it sculptures which 'reside' at the Museum of Berlin. There is a cafeteria among the plentiful pine trees with many publications in all the major languages, which show the history and the temple's past glory. Not to be missed on a night of full moon, when the site is open until well after midnight. Simply majestic.
