We bought the combo ticket to walk around the grounds and then enter the museum. The museum is small, so if you have kids who don't really care for museums this is for them because you can be out in less than 30 minutes.

With the Olympic Games coming up in August in England, it was great to see this fine museum and learn about the history and traditions of the original Olympics. A very well done museum

We took the train from the port of Katakolon, Greece to see Olympia. After just having been to Pompeii, we where very disappointed in what we saw. Their is a fee to get in and it's not worth the trouble to go there or the price to pay. Bunch of old rocks scattered around the grounds with no signs or displays to read except at the entrance. Heard one other tourist remark "bunch of old rocks". However you can see where the Olympics first began, but their is not much connected with what you see. Museum shows origin of Olympics.

We were greatly interested in the founding of the Games and the addition of new events in subsequent years.
