“Lovely hotel, good VFM, we stayed and extra night!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

Excellent hotel and great value for money for a really good 4 star hotel.
The rooms were very big and well appointed. The views all round were stunning. The gardens and pool area were pretty - you would want to sit out here.
The staff were great - friendly and spoke excellent English.
The public spaces within the hotel were well designed, you wanted to sit and order a drink and enjoy the atmosphere or view everywhere!

Something unusual:
When we were here the only male staff were behind the reception desk and there were women working here too. It was women who helped us with our bags and worked behind the bar and waited on the tables in the restaurant. And they were so much more friendly than their male counterparts from my experience in other 4 & 5* hotels. It made for a different and friendly atmosphere. This may be more appreciated by women travelling alone.

Food:
The food in the restaurant was excellent quality. I am a vegan and it was nice to find a big and interesting range of vegetable dishes on the menu to choose from.
Furthermore, as we ate here 3 nights the staff remembered us and bought out extra special treats for us to try which just enhanced our Greek Experience.
If you are not on a tight budget then I highly recommend eating here. Sorry I can't remember prices but it was not extremely expensive and certainly cheaper than eating out in Athens.
Views from the restaurant were also great.
Breakfast includes fresh fruitsalad and a large selection of home-made jams.

We stayed off peak mid week in April, we had booked for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night it was so nice here and I would definitely book to stay here again. I do hope I will travel to this part of the world again.

The pool is not heated but does have the sun on it all day so seemed slightly warmer than the pool at the hotel in Athens a few days earlier. The pool was deep so non-swimmers would have to stay by or on the steps.

I have seem a few negative comments but from my experience they are writing about a different hotel!

As long time members we were shocked at this hotel.no one apparently knows that batteries need replacement
.safe had dead batteries, tvneeded the remote to operate and there were none, heat cooling was controlled from a thermostat on the headboard could not get to work, bathroom vent was non operational ,hair dryer was sporadic as it would continually go off ant the room stank from no ventilation also the noise was ex crossover from the hallway and floor above.this a great example of a 1star hotel parading itself off as a four star

Thank you for the feedback,
We are very sorry for the unpleasant stay, you experienced at our hotel last Monday.
Indeed, some electronic devices in your room did not work, as they had discharged batteries.
A simple phone call to the lobby of our hotel could solve all the problems in your room in minutes.
Like a house, so the hotel is a living organism.
Many things break down. We are trying everything to prevent, and correct problems that arise.
We place great value on cleanliness, service, our food, and the satisfaction of our guests.
We received from you, the lowest rating ever, for the batteries in the remote control and safe, the hair dryer, and the fan in the bathroom.
We apologize for all, even though we consider this scoring excessive.
Best Regards.
Spiliopoulos Family.

A large modern hotel with big rooms with a balcony and a swimming pool and great for a stop on a touring holiday. The rooms are a bit noisy because the use of marble floors everywhere means you hear every footstep and suitcase on wheels rolling by. The restaurant is a bit industrial and you will need to get in line behind four bus loads of Japanese tourists for most of the season.

Our family (3 people) stayed 2 nights at this quite extensive hotel while on a driving trip in the Peloponnesus in late March and early April. There were only a small number of people staying here, which provided an extremely quiet atmosphere. It is possible to imagine that in the summer with all rooms occupied this might not always be the case. The hotel has a very scenic hilltop location with lots of plants and flowering trees at the time we were here. The staff spoke excellent English and were friendly and helpful. Some (perhaps all) of the lobbies and hallways have marble floors and are very impressively designed. Our room was very clean, spacious, quiet and had a pleasant view of a garden area. The hotel is a considerable distance from the town and its adjacent archaeological site, so having a car is helpful unless you have lots of energy for walking up and down the hill. The breakfast was a large buffet of fine quality. Overall excellent value.

A beautiful hillside setting with groves below and has large rooms with a sitting area and balcony and beautifully tiled floors and walls. There are 2 buildings and one has the restaurant on the second floor. There are some steps in the hallways and there are ramps to take luggage over the steps. The restaurant features tempting cuisine and the breakfast has a huge selection of fresh quality foods. It appears to be a tour bus stop and may have groups of people there.

Room Tip: rooms with a view over the valley are scenic and restful

We stayed in March of 2013 before the tour bus season and it is possible that this is a tour bus destination. We found everyone at the hotel to be friendly and great to converse with. The room was large with a separate seating area and the entire hotel was clean. The restaurant food was more than just good as was breakfast. It was good to be out of the town centre as we had a car. We recommend it.

Room Tip: You could ask for a countryside view - ours was primarily of the pool.

Stayed there with a group and all accommodations were nice. We stayed in a two room, three bed, and two bath suite. Very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were very good. It was too cold for the pool, but looked great. I would recommend this hotel, especially for groups.
