Certificate of Excellence

While visiting the Corinth canal and the Ancient city I went to the museum which is really interesting both outdoor and indoor. There is a fee but for students is for free.

This site brings you close to the early days of Christianity. Standing on the site where St Paul was trialled by the Romans to defend his bringing of a new religion, impressed me very much. The site is compact, close to the village, The museum is interesting but does not need a long stay.

The Romans conquered the world and there is much on display around that world. So Greco-Roman museums need to do something different to add to the story; this one does not. It misses great opportunities to explain more about St Pauls mission and teachings while he resided at Korinth. But there rare some good things to show and tell including some wonderful prehistoric toys

The museum and the ruins are interesting. Some buildings are preservered quite well. Unfortunately the use of some buildings was not explained.

Ancient Corinth Museum and the grounds of Ancient Corinth are extremely interesting. The museum is loaded with artifacts and I was very interested in the headless statues finding out that they would just replace the head of the statue with the new leader's head. A lot has been excavated a Corinth and walking the grounds and hearing the stories is very interesting. Paul's letters to the Corinthians include my favorite on love, so seeing where St Paul preached to the Corinthians was really exciting for me. Walking the grounds after hearing the stories gave me such a better idea of what it was like living here.

A good option for a cruise excursion if you have seen Athens too many times.
