We were told to go eat at Arodou since it is one of the best taverna's on the Island
and so we did.
We had dinner and enjoyed the lovely terrace with splendid views.
Unfortunately the food did not match the view. Maybe we were unlucky but
the pikilia we ordered was rather uninspired as it consisted only of a series of balls : tomato, cheese, zucchini and so on. The balls weren't bad but a pikilia should offer a wider range of meze and not just balls.
The calamari was not fresh but frozen, admitted the waiter. He forgot to tell us.
The best dish was the goat stew.
The bill was flawed too : the prices did not match those on the menu. You guessed : they were higher. A new season, new prices, we can understand but please show them on the menu.
To end on a positive note : most people we met who ate there claimed the food was good and last but not least : the frappé they served us on another occasion was excellent.
