A lovely little town with its unique wall designs. A must see in Chios! Lots of places to eat, churches you can explore and not far from some really awesome beaches.

This unique village is one of the best places to visit while in Chios. The exterior walls of most of the houses in this village are etched in geometrical patterns that are uniquely impressive. The people are very welcoming and friendly and there are many souvenir shops with nice local items for sale. There are also some cafes that offer snacks and refreshments.

it is almost a cosy village. it seems that there is a universe for locals whou sit at the small cafes having their mezes with ouzo and a parallel universe comprising of tourists of a number hard to underestimate. I had to chance to get lost in the narrow streets where you always something to look at. sometimes on the facades sometimes in the arches which is quite common in local architecture.

We loved this town. As we were walking up one of the streets, an elderly woman sitting on her door stoop reached out to shake our hands and welcome us. The buildings were so charming and the narrow walkways so fun to explore. Picturesque from every angle!

Cute town, pretty vistas, loved the sun dried tomatoes hanging throughout the town. The walls were interesting also. Worth a stop.

The place is an architectural and design marvel! Needs more exploring, for sure! Beautiful designs on all of walls of the homes and other buildings create a very nice contrast with the bunches of sun drying tomatoes.

Prygi is so different to any town i had seen before, it was such a lovely surprise. I was there for a couple of hours getting lost in the narrow streets, the rendering of the houses and churches is completely unique. A definite must-see.

When in Chios Pyrgi is a place you must see. Do not leave the island without going there. The houses have a unique painting plastering. Stroll around, it takes about 1/2 an hour to see this very particular houses.
Then you can go the center of the town and have a coffee or a drink.
